“Our family needed to quickly find a funeral home for our mom who was in hospice care. We looked online and found Hampsher Funerals and Cremations. We called and left a message. Mat, the Funeral Director called us back a few minutes later, took my mom's information and what her wishes were to be, then walked us through what the next steps were when the time came. When the funeral home was called, two gentleman arrived, gave their condolences, and explained to us what they would be doing. These gentlemen treated our mom with honor, respect, and dignity when removing her from her home. We met Mat a couple days later and he greeted us with his condolences, then we proceeded to go over the arrangements for moms viewing and cremation. Mat was very knowledgeable, considerate, kind, and compassionate through the whole process with us. There were no surprises in the costs because Mat made sure we understood the package we were choosing. He also told us we could text or email him anytime with any questions. Mat did not disappoint in this area, because we would text at different times of the day or week, and he would answer back. The day of the service was so beautiful! Everything was done very professionally.
Unfortunately, we lost my Sister five months later, and the family decided we were going to use Hamsher Funerals once again because of the respect, dignity, kindness, and compassion this funeral home delivers to the family and their loved one. Once again, the service was beautiful and Mat didn't disappoint.
Although, we hope not to need to call Mat and his staff anytime soon, we would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services.
