“I have been a patient of Dr. Lopez for many years. Recently I had a total knee replacement. I highly recommend this practice. I felt very confident in Dr. Lopez and his staff. Debbie his nurse, his assistant Joe as well as the billing staff all were available to answer any questions I had before as well as after my surgery. When or if the time comes when I will need my other knee taken care of I will have Dr. Lopez and his staff take care of me again.“

“I had a great experience with Dr Park today. I’ve been looking around for a place that would do a thorough exam and although we didn’t find the root cause of my sinus infection and bronchitis today, he did rule a lot of things out and did everything he could to help me and answer all of my questions, which at the end of the day was reassuring. What was refreshing was that he spent time explaining the basics, which is sometimes taken for granted but is surprisingly helpful instead of having to Google search everything and wind up down a rabbit hole of information. Dr Park helped me interpret the options for treatment available to me and I felt like I left with a lot more information than I had when I got there, and that’s exactly what I needed to make decisions about what medicine to take for my horrible sinus infection. I also got a PCR test, which is hard to get covered by insurance unless it is specifically ordered by a doctor after the Covid emergency ended May 12.“

“I went to three other immediate cares before I ended up here the day I was in severe pain with an ear infection. The place was clean, organized, and reasonably priced. The staff were all friendly and clear in their communications. I met the nurse practitioner and she was kind, quick, but thorough and asked me multiple times if I needed anything or required further explanation. She even scheduled me for a backup follow up appointment if I needed it! I had a great experience and will definitely be making this my go to for urgent care!“

“I came here for stitches and ended up finding my new PCP! From the check in process Karina, Maria and Kenia were so kind & attentive to me. Saira was the provider who gave me the stitches and she was kind, gentle and patient with me. English is not my first language and these ladies made sure I understood the entire process. The only downfall was when I came back to get my stitches removed- I saw provider Nayeli and she was not kind, patient or attentive. If anyone comes here, don’t accept to be seen by her, trust me!“

“Great Dr! Have been seeing Dr. Umang Patel for almost 30 years and even though I don’t live close to the office anymore, it is worth the 40 min drive. Be prepared to wait, but you will get the treatment you deserve“

“I live in Chicago during the week for work, and have for several years, yet all my doctors are in another city. When I can pre-plan an appointment, I have the flexibility to return to the other city for it. I really like my doctors, after many years of great relationships with them, so have chosen so far not to leave them and find new doctors in Chicago. This has worked really well so far, because I haven't been sick enough to need to see a doctor THAT DAY. This all changed a few weeks ago, when I returned from a trip to a convention with a bad case of what I figured was either bronchitis (which it was, coupled with a sinus infection) or pneumonia (which it was just starting to be). The day after my most miserable flight home (the flight was fine, but I felt lousy and was all congested and coughing, and I feel so sorry for the people who had to sit near me!), I decided I had to see a doctor, and soon. And I felt too lousy to make the three-hour trip back to see my usual family doctor. So I checked online with my insurance company to see which nearby walk-in clinics were included in our network, and was relieved to see that the CVS Minute Clinics were in-network, and that there were several nearby. I chose this one because it's about halfway between my home and office, and on my regular commuting route, so figured it would be most convenient if follow-up was needed. I tried to make an appointment online, but after first telling me I could, the app then told me this function was unavailable. I checked the app for the approximate wait time, and when I saw in the early afternoon that it had dropped from about 90 minutes to about 25, I headed out. Once there, I was only second in line, and was seen in about 30 minutes, maybe less. The check-in process was easy -- all online, using a keyboard and monitor in the waiting area. I really liked the nurse practitioner who saw me, Caitlin. She was extremely friendly and personable (even asking to see a video of my daughter's singing performance when I mentioned the purpose of the convention I'd just attended), conversed with me compassionately and intelligently about my symptoms, examined me thoroughly, and clearly explained the diagnoses and treatments (there were several of each). She sent the prescription orders directly to the store pharmacy online (after confirming with me that this is where I wanted them sent), had me use the prescribed inhaler under her supervision for the first time after I picked up the meds at the pharmacy, then re-checked some of my vitals a few minutes later to confirm that it was doing its job. In summary, I felt like I was in my own doctor's office, receiving the same excellent treatment I was used to receiving there. Two days later, I received a call from the clinician on duty, to ask if the medications were working and I was feeling better. (At the time I felt like I'd improved significantly from Monday, and told her this, but was still at home resting and recuperating trying to get over it.) This was much appreciated, and a nice touch that even my own doctor's office doesn't do. Unfortunately, as has been the case with many of my fellow convention-goer friends, I still hadn't shaken all of my illness a week after finishing the first round of antibiotics, so I ended up back at the Minute Clinic two and a half weeks after my first visit, this time seeing a nurse practitioner named Monica. She was also very nice, and very thorough, and I again felt very well cared for. I asked Monica if she and Caitlin job shared, and she explained that yes, they were the two "regulars" there, and they alternated weekends, and also had some floating NPs who filled in the extra hours. Overall, I was very, very impressed (and very pleasantly surprised) with the care I received. The only time I've used a similar facility was to get a shot for my daughter, that we found out at the last minute she needed before she started college, so I didn't have any true experience with a walk-in clinic for treating an illne“

“Elizabeth, the PA at Physicians Immediate Care gave us the best experience I think we've ever had with a healthcare provider. My son went in for an X-Ray, and ended up needing an MRI. She made sure we got a same day appointment and even provided us with her contact info to make sure we didn't have any troubles at the hospital. She was fantastic. Best service ever. We are very grateful.“

“Have had to come here a handful Of times and usually very sick. Making an appointment is easy on the duly health portal. Sometimes there is a wait even with an appointment, buts it’s urgent care and I expect a wait. I’ve never had a bad experience. providers have been helpful and despite clearly being over loaded at times has always spent time with me and listened and addressed all my concerns. Every staff member from check in, to intake with an EMT to physicians and radiology, they all have been kind and helpful.“

“We've been to this urgent care twice for my husband's wax blockages in his ears and gotten excellent care both times. After trying another urgent care, we came back here hoping they would be able to diagnose the problem. They diagnosed a wax blockage within minutes and were able to flush it out. We got recommendations on how to prevent it in the future. The doctor and nurse were nice, efficient and professional. As long as I live in the area, this will be the only urgent care I go to. Thank you!“

“An apple a day, may keep the doctor away. However if you need to see one, this place is top notch!!!I've been with NCH for quite some time now. Started off in the Buffalo Grove office, but once I moved to Mount Prospect, I switched to the office there. So, I've been with Dr. Stefaniuk since ~ 2009. I guess you could say my money is where my mouth is on this review.Dr. Stefaniuk is fantastic. He spends time to truly listen to your problems when you go in. Asks good questions and then presents ample time explaining the diagnosis. I will continue to go here and hope to for a very long time. An older video, but here is an introduction video I found on Dr. Stefaniuk - youtube.com/watch?v=MHDD…The facility itself appears clean and modern. The support staff have always been pleasant and easy to work with. During Covid times, they had great protocols in place when coming in. When going in for an appointment visit, I never had a wait time issue. There have been a few instances in the past when I would come in for the On-call doctor (immediate care). All the times that I have, I never experienced any significant wait time (all under an hour from what I recall). If necessary, they have many specialty practices you could get referred out to. For example, I went to an ENT under NCH and was pleased with those doctors as well.I'm a little surprised to see a bunch of the 1 star ratings. Those all seem to be billing or wait time issues. I'm guessing you are going to have those type of complaints at all doctor offices/hospitals.....(Unrelated to this medical office, but my wife gave birth at the NCH Hospital and that was a great experience as well).“

“This is my third visit in northwest community healthcare.First, I took there my 11 years old son. He had a pencil lead on his hand. They did a great work and they took out. After taking it out, they also had the x-ray, make sure that no pieces left inside of his hand. It was awesome.Second one was with my daughter. It was all great. Third one was my six years old boy. It was great as well.I would definitely recommend this place.“
