About LA Fitness
XSport Fitness offers a range of amenities, including state-of-the-art equipment, group fitness classes, HIIT, personal training, tanning, recovery services, a spa, salon, and retail store. The staff provides great service, with some employees being particularly helpful at night. Most visitors are serious about weight training, and the community is strong. However, the equipment can get damaged frequently due to intense use, and parking can be a challenge with limited spaces. While the facilities like the pool are spacious and suitable for swimmers of various sizes, they require more frequent cleaning and maintenance. Guests have noted that the pool, whirlpool, and dryer machine are often down, and one jacuzzi has not been operational for several years. The men's locker rooms can sometimes feel neglected, with half of the lockers not closing properly. On a positive note, the B court has been recently redone and the new stretching/exercise area is a great addition. Personal trainers are friendly and knowledgeable, working closely with clients to create tailored workouts and provide valuable guidance. Overall, improvements in cleaning and maintenance could enhance the experience at XSport Fitness.
Cramped, hot, smelly, dirty, constantly out of wipes for equipment, can’t find barbell clips anywhere, weights laying everywhere on the floor, dumbells constantly missing. Front desk is helpful. I also routinely see people breaking club rules eg no shirt or wearing jeans.
The Gym has great and suficiente equipment, even though some guys use 2 machines at the same time, the bad side of it is CLEANLINESS!, the climbing wall space STINKS! You can smell mold as soon as you step in, and machinery up stairs are unbelievably dirty, the room gets so hot because of the missing shades when using the leg machines the sun is all up on your face! !
While it may not be an ideal location for everyone, this gym still provides the basics that I need. Yes, it can be a bit dirty and plenty of machines or services are unavailable at times, but since LA took over I've seen small improvements and changes to the overall facilities that other reviews neglect to mention. Many things that were neglected by both xsport and whoever actually owns that parking lot, that led the gym to fall apart have slowly been fixed or will be addressed in the future according to one male staff member i usually see in the mornings. So while it may not look the best right now, I'm sure its only a matter of time before this place can be restored...read full review
