I came here for a flash special while I was in town for Lollapalooza. It was a great experience. Everyone was quick, nice and very knowledgeable and helpful. My artist had a light hand (I felt no pain at all which was a tattoo first for me), and the guy who checked me in gave me extra tips for protecting my bandage before heading back to the festival. And the ATM Nextdoor makes the cash only thing very doable. Plus the neighborhood was nice and quiet and had some businesses with great food and drink options. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip and now I'll always have something (moon) to commemorate it!
We had a great experience at Taylor Street Tattoo. We walked in and there were plenty of artists available to do three tattoos. Two of us were getting tattoos for the first time and everyone was so helpful and gave excellent guidance. The woman at the front desk is so warm and welcoming, plus did a great job advising us and picking the right artists for each design.
The barn owl was done by Dan Gardea. The sunburst was done by Keith Underwood.
I highly recommend this place, especially if you haven’t had time to set up appointments somewhere.
I got an eyebrow piercing with Zoe and it is absolutely KILLER! I freaking love it so much and Zoe treated me with such kindness and care! Will come back again for my next one, and if you get one too, Zoe’s your gal!
