Before I flew out for a trip, I stopped by Sparrow to see Ben for a massage, and I'm so glad I did. The person running the front desk offered to store my luggage for me during the session which symbolizes how I felt the whole while there; cared for, considered, and comfortable. Ben was perceptive, communicative, and warm hearted, which immediately put me at ease. He relieved my shoulder and back fatigue with soothing and targeted work and after feeling on a tipping point of burnout, I came away from my session in a regulated and recharged state. sparrow was amazing and peaceful! they offered me tea and wine upon entering. service was great and just quirky enough to not come off as fake. paige gave me a great haircut and wash for $115. will be coming back
I’ve been getting my curls cut by Sheba since I moved to Chicago a few years ago, and I truly won’t trust anyone else. I’ve moved neighborhoods and still make the trip just to sit in her chair. She has an artistic eye and an incredible ability to bring your vision to life, whether it’s a cut, color, or both, while always protecting the health of your hair. Plus, she’s hilarious and effortlessly cool. The space is beautiful, calming, and full of good energy—and their commitment to sustainability and being proudly anti-Am*z*n is the icing on the cake.
