Was looking for someone to cut my hair urgently after being natural for so long and not knowing what to do with it. I googled every hair salon in Chicago and no one was available or they were only available by appointment. I came across ms Arlene and she was nice and a breath of fresh air she agreed to get me in the chair as soon as possible and boy am I glad I made that step she's been more than a awesome beautician she's been a listening ear and a friend all in one.. I recommend anyone that natural or looking to go short contact her she is lovely and trust me you won't regret it

The women in this salon are incredible, fun, professionals. As a busy executive, I never wait. When I am given an appointment time, Arlene never deviates from the time that she booked for me. In the rare case that she is behind, DeAnna and Nica jump in to help. My hair always looks fantastic and that gives me incredible confidence. They have my loyalty because of consistent their professionalism.

Everyone was very kind. Ms Dee the owner was my stylist who completed a silk press on my 4C hair. She provided me with a lot of information about my hair and how effective the silk press may or may not be on my hair as it was my first time. I truly appreciated that. I knocked off one star because I felt like heat was overused on my hair. Silk press are a lot of heat, but the flat iron was passed several times on my hair which is a recipe for disaster. She also did not use heat protectant. When I asked why, I was told that the products used (shampoo and deep conditioner) was what was protecting my hair. I have never heard that before.
