I had a great experience here at Etape. Ms. Sharon was phenomenal and cut my hair proportional to my face shape and it feels so much lighter. I highly recommend and they are experienced for Asian hair and all hair.

Great experience. Waited just a little bit past my appt time - about 15 min, which is not bad at all relative to other shops in Chinatown. Staff was friendly and speak English well. Eric, my barber, was friendly, efficient, and checked several times during my appt if I liked the style / length. It was a little pricey - $34 for men's trim, but it was well worth the money for me.

Haircut itself was alright. I told the lady that I wanted a trim, keep the back round, and don’t give me layers. I knew exactly what I wanted. She insisted on layers and kept providing recommendations and ended up cutting my hair shorter than I expected. I only wanted a trim but she cut it short. It turned out alright but now what I wanted. If you have no idea what kinda haircut you want, you might like this place. But if you know exactly what you want, stay away.Three stars because this place is sketchy with the prices.
