About Northwestern Memorial Hospital Galter Pavilion
Based solely on the provided reviews, Northwestern Memorial Hospital Galter Pavilion is described as a great hospital, one of the best in Chicagoland and Illinois and nationwide. People drive hours from adjacent states for medical treatments and surgeries. The staff are nice, competent, smart, hardworking, kind, helpful, and attentive. The facility is very clean with great views and decorated really pretty, making it a comfortable place to be. The emergency room experience was one of the best, with immediate check-in, vitals, and EKG. The staff were very informative, very fast, and professional from top to bottom. Getting around is very convenient. However, parking is very expensive with no deal for handicap parking at valet or in the garage. Also, some practices were felt to be borderline sexual assault, especially in the CCICU, and staff went against power of attorney papers. An older man on the CCICU floor belittled a patient.

On my third injection of Mounjaro.
I went through a painful time recently and my Blood Sugar was too high. My Internist, Daniel B. Evans recommended I take insulin or Mounjaro. Insulin is not as easy to handle, so I opted for the easy process of an injection from a refrigerated prescription. I first time all went well. The second time I pulled the needle out too fast (thigh) and it leaked a little. The third time, to he needle got caught on my skin; it hurt a bit.
Further, I only had two side effects so far on the day after the injects. They were mild. My stomach was rumbling a few hours before I moved my bowels. And the bowels were loose.

I was referred to Northwestern for surgery. I was very happy with the care I received in the overnight stay . Dr. Ziho Lee and his team performed my surgery and after care. It was not an easy recovery but there was always a professional person who returned my call for issues I had, I am seven weeks past surgery and am doing very good. Thank you to Dr. Ziho Lee and team.
