Based solely on the provided reviews, Northwestern Memorial Hospital Galter Pavilion is described as a great hospital, one of the best in Chicagoland and Illinois and nationwide. People drive hours from adjacent states for medical treatments and surgeries. The staff are nice, competent, smart, hardworking, kind, helpful, and attentive. The facility is very clean with great views and decorated really pretty, making it a comfortable place to be. The emergency room experience was one of the best, with immediate check-in, vitals, and EKG. The staff were very informative, very fast, and professional from top to bottom. Getting around is very convenient. However, parking is very expensive with no deal for handicap parking at valet or in the garage. Also, some practices were felt to be borderline sexual assault, especially in the CCICU, and staff went against power of attorney papers. An older man on the CCICU floor belittled a patient.
