In July of 2023, we were hit with the torrential rain that impacted much of Cook County. We have more than two feet of sewer water in the basement. To make matters worse, our insurance company was overwhelmed and did not get back to us in a timely manner. After working with contractors who were hit and miss when it came to reliability, I finally called Manny at Mike’s Construction to give us a bid. He came out the next day to look at the work to be done and was able to start in less than two days.
