Every person is warm, attentive, and clearly doing this work because they care. The massage therapists are excellent and incredible, taking time to truly listen to what is needed and delivering exactly that. They are wonderful and phenomenal, making sure you are comfortable. The establishment is very clean and the staff is pleasant. At the end, guests are offered water, phenomenal tea, and champagne. It is a pure magic spot, too special not to share, and highly recommended for a retreat from a busy lifestyle.
I was nervous about our massage bookings given the reviews, but my husband and I both had a great experience with Blanca and Byrd! Surprisingly better than both Chuan Spa and the spa at Waldorf Astoria. Would go back!
A most pleasant and positive experience had today at the Leaf Spa located inside the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, during near blizzard weather and freezing temps! Ms. April at front desk was personable and kindly supportive; professional massage therapist Shanice provided the best 80-minute massage - I had the Winter Peaceful Pause. Spa is clean with lovely amenities. I found it overall peaceful and non pretentious. Thankfully due to this experience (exceeding expectations based on a few online reviews), I will return and do recommend this spa and technician to others. Where do I begin with this?!
Opening up right out of the gates - the intention tree. It is the absolute best! Really gets you right into the headspace that you WANT. It makes you feel better and DO better during this experience.
The front desk guy - Curtis. I found out he’s one of the managers of the spa. He’s super sweet, caring, attentive, and very easy on the eyes too. He made the whole check-in a breeze and something to look for in other spas I visit when not in Chicago.
