About Erie Foster Avenue Health Center
Erie Foster Avenue Health Center is a well-regarded facility located on a hospital campus at the corner of Foster and California. This center offers a wide range of services, including primary medical care for all ages, prenatal and women’s health services, behavioral health support, chronic disease management, vaccines, STI testing, and treatment. It also features a Lending Hands for Life satellite clinic for patients with HIV/AIDS. Patients appreciate the knowledgeable and empathetic doctors, as well as the hardworking medical assistants and helpful front desk staff. Many express loyalty to Erie, often traveling considerable distances for the quality of care provided. While wait times can vary, especially during busy periods, the center actively seeks feedback to improve patient experiences. The dental services are also praised, with patients reporting positive experiences with the dental staff. Overall, while some reviews mention that the office design could benefit from modernization, the helpfulness of the staff and the quality of care offered make Erie Foster Avenue Health Center a trusted choice for many in the community.
I never had a problem coming here, usually pretty quick here sometimes you gotta wait a bit, I just wish more people would wear the provided masks or enforced more, unless the individual has breathing problems other than that I love the service and attitude from the people I come in contact with...
I'd like to recognize Dr. Anthony Sheu D.O. here-
Dr. Sheu is very professional, courteous, thorough and explains things quite clearly. A comforting presence.
Despite some negative reviews I've seen, this clinic has been fine for me (4 or 5 visits) other than a frequent change in staff.
The staff was great except for the melanated woman wearing a head covering sitting behind the check-in booths. She seemed irritated and would rather take personal calls on her cellphone, than do her job. I had to wait until she got off the phone to receive assistance. Please, if you don't want to work at work, stay home!! Taking personal calls on someone else dime is wild and disrespectful. She should've excused herself instead of head nodding me to go to the next booth that had no one there. Once she realized that, she got off the phone and assisted me. I'm walking with a cane. I don't have time to stand around in pain so some lazy little girl can sit on her cellphone.
