About Equinox Gold Coast
Equinox Gold Coast positions itself as a premium fitness destination, emphasizing an unparalleled member experience. The gym boasts state-of-the-art equipment, spacious workout areas, and impeccable cleanliness, along with a variety of group classes taught by world-class instructors. Members praise the attentive staff, including membership advisors who ensure a smooth experience. The facility offers a range of amenities, such as a pool and courts, which attract members seeking a social aspect to their fitness journey. However, some members express concerns about the gym's cleanliness due to a lack of enforcement regarding the no bag policy. They find the presence of large bags, including dirty shoes, on the gym floor disruptive and hindering their workouts. Additionally, some members desire more equipment, particularly newer cable attachments and additional squat racks or cable machines. They also note that the gym's increasing popularity has made it more challenging to access certain machines during peak hours.
You should only join this gym if you're ready to make fitness a top priority. I signed up for 1 on 1 personal training with Kaylla Spinks and she changed my life from the inside out spiritually, mentally, and physically. They also have group classes ALL DAY EVERY DAY with world class instructors - these are included with your membership. Facilities are immaculate. Julia, my membership advisor, checks in with me regularly to ensure my experience is going smoothly. I've been a member now for over 6 months and hope to be for a long time.
My homes always come with fitness centers in building but also offer memberships outside of the building included with rent ----with Equinox being a recurring one. This luxury gym exceeded expectations, boasting state-of-the-art equipment, spacious workout areas, and impeccable cleanliness. Expert trainers and diverse classes added value, making it a premium fitness destination. The upscale amenities and attentive staff contribute to an unparalleled fitness experience. I liked the pool and courts most of all. Even though I have these at home it's a great way to get out and meet new dwellers.
It's fine, but I would expect more for $185/mo. They don't enforce the no bag policy so the floor is a mess for no reason. The same people constantly being large bags, including dirty shoes that are outside the bag, and jackets and no one ever says anything to them. It makes hard to do certain exercises. There are locker rooms with provided locks for a reason. It's difficult enough to work in with the rest of the members and the PT sessions to have to worry about the extra baggage and people attempting to use 4 machines at once. The facility is usually clean and the janitorial staff is nice. They do seem to start cleaning at the end of the day quite early - like approx. 2 hours before close. The gym could use some newer cables attachments and another squat rack or cable machine. There are a lot of cardio machines that are probably busy when there are classes, but are often excessive outside of them. More recently, the gym has been much more busy when I visit than in the past and makes it difficult to get certain machines.
