This was the best experience I've had getting braids in a very long time. The environment was nice, quiet, and clean. I love that my braider checked in with me asking is it ok if she use a particular product or about my preference on how she braided my edges. She was very professional and I felt included in the process. They were very polite and I wasn't there all day. I appreciate her transparency about the prices and setting clear expectations. Ill definitely be back! I highly recommend this shop.
Honestly Coco is the only braider allowed to touch my hair. She braids with so much excellence she is truly gifted. Her braids last a long time, her parts are always very neat and her shop is clean! I never feel like im in a sweat shop with her. She has a little spicy personality sometimes (lol) and I do think she can be more gentle with thick hair. But overall her work is great! Far better than most braid shops!
I will be making a trip so you can do my hair Coco. I’ve never been to your shop but, I see your work and I love what I see. I want to schedule an appointment. I want some boho box braids. See you soon when I come to Chicago for my next visit. This will be my first time coming to your shop.
