After interviewing several kitchen remodellers, I chose John because he struck me as a capable, accommodating and honest contractor. He informed me right away that the kind of remodeling I wanted required a permit from the village. I didn't even think that it was needed but a call to our village proved that he was right. None of the other contractors brought up the subject of permits. Once John and his crew started work on my kitchen, I saw that my original impression of John was correct. I share the sentiments of all the 5-star reviewers. John (the owner) and his crew did a partial bathroom remodel for me as well as other work in my home after I had to let my first GC go. I was impressed that they were professional, punctual, careful in prepping and protecting the space, and did a nice job. They actually cared about the quality of their work and were capable of creative solutions, which is more than I can say for the last GC. If something wasn’t done to my satisfaction, they politely worked on it again to get it right. I went from hating my bathroom to loving it, thanks to them!
