We had such a great experience with Ballroom Dance Chicago and especially with Shelby Gray! Our weekly dance lessons ended up being one of the most fun parts of our entire wedding planning process.
Going into it, we were both a little nervous about whether we could actually put together a first dance that looked smooth and coordinated—especially since I was pretty convinced I had two left feet. We took lessons with Brenna at BDC to prepare for our wedding first dance. From the start, Brenna was warm and friendly, and put us at ease as two people who were a bit nervous about the whole process. Brenna made it clear that she would meet us wherever we were at as we had no previous dance experience. We kept it simple to start, but picked things up surprisingly quickly and ended up adding a couple of fancy moves! It went great on our wedding day and our guests were very impressed. This is an excellent dance studio with a variety of classes to choose from. I do not have a partner, but am so glad I gave this place a chance! It is a great way to meet people and try new things. The membership options are flexible, and the instructors and apprentices are professional, knowledgable, and supportive. I think this studio is the best value in the area if you are curious about trying dancing, or if you are serious about getting good.
