The Hive is nothing less than a magical space. The second my foot steps through the door, my spirit feels immediately uplifted by the warm welcoming vibe created by The Hive's founders. The classes at The Hive are the perfect blend of technically specific and creatively open. I feel challenged to grow as a dancer without the pressure of 'getting it right.' Teachers encourage us to bring everything to the dance floor: our emotions, our own unique bodies, our quirks, and even (maybe especially) our mistakes. It is all useful and beautiful. There is always room for questions and every level of dance experience. Teachers meet the students where they are. My current favorite classes are Modern and Contemporary with Jeff and Seth (also the founders of The Hive).
I never write reviews, but I am doing it for this studio because this place is absolutely wonderful. Take class here. You will not regret it. The teachers are just very lovely humans, with excellent knowledge, and they foster such a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. ♥️
Excellent training. My daughter has grown so much and loves that the teachers push her in a positive way. Highly recommend.
