“WOW...... Like I don't know where to begin with my adventure. As we all know, no one likes it when a big ticket home appliance goes out aka stops working. We had a 9 year old water heater which means I can still tinker it out and fix it. Well last week the pilot lite stopped working. Bought a new thermocoupling assembly thinking that's the only working part of my water heater. Well that didn't fix the issue either, I could only run one cycle then nothing. So between working and working I finally had a chance to reach out to have a replacement installed. I called every place in the Rockford Illinois Metro area and they all were next week or maybe next next week. I called Anderson Plumbing and left a message. Obviously not a big crazy company but enough for my needs. When available they called me right back and the best questions on what we needed. He gave me on quote on a full deal to include their own warranty. After checking with the boss deciding between buy from big box and Anderson, she chose Anderson. Next was when can you do it? He said how about today, maybe tomorrow. See remember I told him about our situation, 1 week no HOT WATER. Steve call me back at 1pm and said I'll be there at 2pm. And just like he was here. He was beyond friendly and knowledgeable and social and made the whole process move flawlessly. Literally took him maybe 49 minutes from removing of the old unit, installed and soldered new water lines, and installed the new one. ? Not to say there is anything wrong with big box, but local wants your business and your support vs big box is just looking for the next customer. They had to come in and make many trips down the basement and always made sure the door was closed properly. They put drop cloths down and it was done with minimal mess. They had to dig outside and everything was put back in order. Fixed the problem and we were pleased with the results. We'll use them again if ever needed.“
