“My overall grade for Skin Repair Studio wellness spa is: A+Please note that this review is for a deep-tissue massage.I've been seeking out a place that can help with some muscle tension knots and this place is the place. When you visit for the first time, one is asked to fill out a long survey/form that is reminiscent of a medical visit form. Seemed a bit too detailed for just getting a massage to me, but then, after my visit - this place is a serious about your health place and they want to dive deep into what is ailing you in order to help fix it.My massage therapist asked a lot of questions and quickly found the knots in my back and actually pointed one out that I did not know about.Long story short, she was very methodical and also tried some "cupping" to help relive the symptoms. While I was very sore afterwards, it absolutely helped and I will be back very soon to follow up on the treatment.My only "wish" was for more available time slots, but I get it. It's a small shop with a few highly-trained individuals, so it is what it is.I am now a loyal fan and will absolutely come back frequently. They really know what they're doing. This is not your run-of-the-mill places. This place is great.“

“Great experience, I would highly recommend this massage and spa. As soon as you step foot into the spa, you feel instantly calmed as the ambience is very welcoming and relaxing, with candles everywhere and very calming decor. Candy is very kind and gentle with an inviting demeanor. The rooms were the same - low light, comfortable, relaxing. I had Angelo both times and he was great. I felt very comfortable around him as he is very chill. He asked why I was there and what he should work on. I had tightness in my neck/shoulders and he used deep pressure on me to work out the knots. It wasn't a \\\"feel-good\\\" massage, but it was what I wanted and needed. He offered me some great advice about my posture and things I could to to try to prevent some of the tightness. I enjoyed my chats with him and I have been more aware of my posture since. The price is reasonable, especially if you get a bundle of certificates. I have searched high and low for a massage therapist where the results last more than a week. I've been to quite a few where they just don't get the knots out, too light pressure, too painful without results. Angelo is the perfect. Just the right amount of pressure with lasting results. Just check them out, you won't be disappointed.“

“Excellent deep tissue massage - totally eliminated the knots in my back. The therapist is clearly very experienced and attentive!Two minor points: They just moved locations, so the space feels a bit lacking in atmosphere. Also, I thought the doorbell sound when you enter was startling - not the best for a place that's meant to be relaxing.Overall, excellent experience and not too pricey.“

“First off,This lady has a very thick Asian accent so it's really hard to make an appointment. I couldn't understand anything she said and I'm Filipino..Second, that's how I knew it was going to be a good massage! Good Asian food & massages are better when they barely speak English & have bad customer service lolI had to call a few times to get an appointment.I noticed she doesn't like to make appointments in advance, I got an appointment the day of.I go to the chiropractor every month, but my back still aches, so my chiropractor actually recommended getting massages.I had the combo massage for an hour at $80 & it felt way longer than an hour! Assumed this was half Thai & regular massage, which was great because last Thai massage I had elsewhere was SO PAINFUL.She started by standing on my back and dug her toes in & cracked my back in 4 different places! That's when I knew it was gonna be good! She cracked me in places I didn't even know could be cracked!She asked if I liked it hard in the beginning, so if you don't like it hard just let her know.I like it hard and this was almost perfect.. Thai massages I just assume are slightly more "hard" so I expected it to be, but wasn't overbearing.I must've had a tight right shoulder because she was massaging that area a lot & was relentless until it loosened up.She does full body front & back.She even cracked my neck & sides like my chiropractor does.It was an overall great massage.I actually plan on making this my massage place now. Will be coming back every other month for this massage!Heads up, she does answer the phone during massages which ruined the "zen" but didn't bother me as much. Also felt bad because the person on the phone couldn't understand her thick accent.She was like yelling "see you at 6 pm!"I assume she looses some clients over this..If you have a bad back, I think Thai massages is the only thing that works.I spent around $130 for a Himalayan rock massage at another place & it was terrible. They just rubbed the rock on my body for an hour & did not touch me once! So hole in the wall Asian places is much better than the boujee massage parlors I been to.“
