My experience was good. The nurses were professional, skilled and kind. I was an end of the day add-on but they didn't make me feel bad at all. My only complaint was the waiting area lacked chairs/space to wait. I was there for a migraine infusion and almost ended up having to stand while waiting for my turn until a visitor of a patient gave me their chair.
First of all, the nursing staff is fantastic, but I'm complaining about the scheduling system.
I have some things that require me to request a bid. They don't have enough beds. It's on my file that I have a bed. Requested, because how long it takes for my infusion, but they keep scheduling people in wheelchairs, which need to be in also At the same time, I have asked them to move me around. They're schedules, so I can have I bet i'm standing in the infusion room with my hips and legs hurting, i'm gonna be back because of these stupid pieces of junk chairs, there should be a way that the schedulers can schedule people who request or need the beds. The emergency room stuff was great. We were on the 3rd floor for 5 days until my sister past. We had a lot of family coming and going saying their goodbyes. The 3rd floor stuff all shifts. Were awesome with us. They took great care to make sure my sister stayed comfortable . They helped us get through this very difficult time.
