“I got married about a year ago now. I just stumbled upon my dress and realized I never left a review for the people that really made my wedding dress possible.

I got engaged and married all within a 3 month period. A rushed wedding to say the least! I had purchased a dress that was going to require a few alterations. Somehow, I had managed to lose 15 pounds after purchasing my dress, so what had started out as a few minor adjustments ended up being extensive work.

Alterations were something I was terrified to inquire about. I made 3 phone calls, was turned down by two seamstresses due to the short turn around (understandably so). The third call I made was Kim’s. Without hesitation, they booked me for an appointment that next day.

I was anxious the entire appointment. I asked so many times if the timeline was something they were comfortable with, and it was almost as if they knew I needed some calming words. I left that appointment without a doubt in my mind that I was in the best of hands.

ONE WEEK LATER. Again ONE WEEK- I got the call that my dress was finished. UNHEARD OF in the gown world (not to mention, it was the heat of prom dress season.) Not only that, but it was PERFECT. More perfect than I left it. My dress was a sample, and it had complex beading all throughout the gown. 8-10 layers of tulle fabric of different shades, some sparkly/some matte. They fixed the beading up to look like it came straight from the designer, stitched areas of tulle together so the dress would fall better than I had even pictured in my head.

My first wedding was an elopement. We will be planning a big wedding in the foreseeable. I will be coming here for those dress alterations as well.

The day I walked in, the owner was assisting a bride and she still greeted me, asked what I came in for, gave her my items, she had me write down my info on a slip and within two days, FIXED. Just like that:-)
