Jenny made every effort to get my son engaged, listened to his feedback, and made all of us feel comfortable with the process. The result? Becca cut our 17 month old’s hair today and it was such an amazing experience. It was his first haircut and she was incredibly patient and kind to him. My stylist was Marissa. We talked first to make sure we were on the same page for what I was looking for. She brought out a book of hair swatches to get the highlights colors I wanted. Marissa was very friendly and mindful of my sensitive head. The cut and highlights were perfect!!! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

The stylists here have never failed to exceed my expectations. I absolutely love that both of my children and myself are able to come here and have a great experience in getting our hair done. Donna has been wonderful in working with mine and my oldest's hair. Recommending styles and ways to keep their hair fresh. Tanner was absolutely great helping me with my youngest for their first haircut. Not only making their first haircut a memorable experience but suggesting tips to help in the long term with volume. Cannot recommend both Donna and Tanner enough.

I haven’t been able to get into my normal nail place lately so I’ve been here three times, once for toes and twice for my fingernails. When I Want a fun design I try to be realistic, especially when I am not sure if the salon has a nail tech that likes doing designs. Everyone is very nice here and I absolutely love love my nails both times!!! They frequently check if you are OK with the shape and color and design as they go along, which I like. Tori did an AMAZING job with my facial. She gave a superb job with the shoulder massage that went with the facial. She showed me how much gunk was in my nose pores. I was nervous at first since I never had a facial before but she made me feel extremely welcome. Definitely recommend her for your facials!

Dr Chad is more than just my dentist. I feel like he is one of my friends. I had given up on my teeth. I have had many, many dental procedures throughout my adult life and felt very discouraged that I am still having more procedures. Dr Chad and his staff genuinely care about me. His honesty and his great sense of humor have given me a renewed positivity regarding my smile. I went there initially to discuss just getting dentures. Now, I am considering doing some cosmetic work on my smile. Thank you Dr Chad and staff.
Changing dentists after many years wasn’t something I'd planned, but I’m genuinely glad I moved my care to Furrow Family Dentistry. I’ve known and admired Derek Furrow since he and my daughter were in show choir together, so I expected a good experience. What stood out was the straightforward approach: no upselling, no pressure. Cosmetic dental services are available, but they’re offered without a hard sell, which makes me far more likely to consider them down the road. (And the office is located very near my office - another plus.) When addressing an issue, Derek recommended a $507 fix that made sense, rather than the multi-thousand-dollar option my previous office pushed. Derek and his team also include a thorough oral cancer screening at every visit, which, having had a head/neck cancer, I appreciated. If you’re looking for a skilled, honest, straightforward, and kind dental provider and team in the Johnston/Urbandale area, please consider Derek Furrow. I wish I’d made the switch sooner.
