From mostly singing at home (in the shower and in the car), Maryanne was able to coach her out of her shell, and she has since performed as a soloist in recitals and talent shows. Maryanne was like our daughter's own grandmother. Our daughter was always excited to tell Maryanne all about her day in school and to show off her non-musical abilities, and singing lessons were by far her favorite activity. We have since had to move out of state, and leaving Maryanne was one of the most difficult parts of our move.
