Britni is one of the best makeup artist I’ve ever known. She has been in the industry for awhile and she knows what she’s doing. She has made me look good for so many occasions s including my wedding. On top of that she does the best spray tans. And is the only one I will allow to do my spray tans it looks perfect no streaks and the right color. I’ve been seeing her the last 12 years. She is one of the realist and one of the kindest and will help you get the results you want with skin care, makeup, and spray tan.
LaTosha was the best! I went in for some braids today. I love her sense of style. She offers a bit of everything for everyone. LaTosha said everyone is a celebrity when you come to her and boy she is on point. I definitely will be back. Plus she starts you out with something special!!!! Michele’s skills have effortlessly evolved and she stays on top of trends, while consistently making me feel refreshed and beautiful everytime I sit in her chair. Literally cannot recommend her anymore. FYI - prepare for more time in her chair than less time. Perfection takes time and Michele is always willing to take all the time necessary to make sure you’re happy with your hair. Personally, I don’t mind the extra time it takes. The conversation is always great and I sincerely enjoy my time with Michele.

Sade is the absolute best! I’ve been going to her for years and she has brought every hair dream I’ve had to life no matter how crazy or simple it was. She is amazing with vivid bright color but has also kept my blonde looking beautiful. She is able to do all of these color transitions while still keeping my hair healthy and guiding me in the right direction when I’m asking for something that will fry it all off. The salon was full of amazing people, the boss lady was so involved in everything it truly made the experience enjoyable seeing the teamwork! My stylist was Jaden she was an amazing artist! She made me feel comfortable and she listened to exactly what I wanted for my hair. She was the best part of the experience! Very very happy with how my hair looks and very happy she took her day to make me feel special and look special! I was new in town but found my way by referral to Fred. He's wonderful, a vet And a good listener! His price is lowest I have found, but then again I choose to tip significantly so I guess he's pretty high priced but the value proposition is great. Go give him a try.

Seriously, the cleanest nail salon l have ever been to. They were all very friendly and my nail tech was AMAZING! She took such good care of me and I even caught her checking her work which is basicaly unheard of anymore.

Ocean Nails did a wonderful job. I came in with a bridal party of 5, all with different needs and design choices. While some of us had confusion about what exactly we wanted (me in particular) the nail technicians helped guide us through it and made sure we were happy with the result. They took extra time and were very patient.
I also loved seeing some regulars come in and strike up communication with the staff. It was clear there is a good vibe here and I'm glad we chose this salon.
Price seemed reasonable for the services. Salon was clean and comfortable. They provided water and snacks, I believe, as well.
My favorite place to get a pedicure.
1) I like the book they give for you to pick out a color.
2) You can choose a shorter pedicure that will be done in 30 minutes for a little less $$$.
3) They use a portable dryer at your seat. Not the communal dryer you walk over to. No getting up until your nails are completely dry!
They prefer their tips in cash. Everyone is very nice.
Gymkana Blue is my favorite place. The stylists are all so sweet and amazing, the place has a chill vibe all its own, and everyone knows their stuff. You literally CANNOT walk out of this place without feeling like a queen!

I’ve had a lot of trouble managing my hair between salon appointments throughout my life, and she’s the first stylist to thoroughly walk me through every step of my hair care routine and help nurse my hair back to health in such a hands on way.
Megan cut/highlighted/colored my children’s hair and my mom’s hair for years, perfectly. She also did my daughter and friend’s hair for all their special dances, beautifully. They always looked amazing and had so much fun with her in the salon. I highly recommend Megan and Kalon. Megan is amazing!

I see MaKenna, she does an amazing job. Only services I’ve gotten so far are hair cut, style, and eyebrow waxing. MaKenna is so nice and truly a joy to spend your time with. My first time seeing MaKenna she was able to fix a bad hair cut that I got elsewhere…. She turned a choppy mess into a wonderfully blended haircut! Pricing is very fairly priced in my opinion. The salon is also aesthetically pleasing! Parking lot, so easy parking!
Definitely one of the best places to go to if you're looking to get extremely vivid colors! If you're looking to go neon or something subtle this is the place to go as the color lasts a very long time as well. I couldn't imagine getting my hair colored anywhere else now. The owner, (and my usual stylist) Rachel, is extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. I come out of here every time feeling on top of the world as the dye and hair cut jobs I get done always look perfect and last for months~ I know that going here will always yield the best results and couldn't recommend this place more
Sarah was wonderful the whole staff seems to really enjoyed their job and interacting with the customers, I observed the workers, the stylists giving advice to the customers but also listening to them and their input. Also they're very honest people as well I got two teenage girls and one of them I was going to get their eyes wax and Sarah said they didn't need it done. I tell you one thing you go there and you give them a shot and you will not regret it.

I had a Yoni steam done and loved it. Id been talking doing this for years and we were in town and was referred by a friend and loved it. Its in a cozy spa that had several services to offer, the host told us about all the herbs and what to expect before hand. She was patient and kind. I enjoyed the entire spa feel. I would definitely recommend this spa.

I have used J&J several times for all Maintnance needs for my spa. They all are quick to respond and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the spa and try to help over the phone before they simply send a Tech. 5-stars
I had a deep tissue massage for the first time. It was amazing! I appreciated that they use hot stones, cupping, and other methods to help alleviate my symptoms. I will definitely be coming back.
I had THE BEST experience with Chakra and Reicki treatments today. I thought Chaquita's massages were great, which they are, but to be able to heal within, was wonderful! Bre was fantastic, probably one of the best massages I’ve ever had. She was professional, the space is calming and relaxing, and no outside noise was heard. 100% recommend.
We booked a couples massage and it was excellent. I was impressed with the entire facility. The locker room had a key in the locker assigned to me as well as a robe and flip flops. There is a shower and bathroom in here as well with products to wash yourself after a treatment. There was water, coffee, and tea available before and after treatments. The staff were all calm and friendly and made us feel comfortable during our first massage. We picked up some bath salts to use in our jacuzzi while staying at the Julienne.
The Crow's Nest is the closest place I found when looking for APP certified piercers, and I 100% don't regret scheduling my appointment with them. I got a lower body mod, and you could really feel everyone's enthusiasm. My piercer was very charming and made sure everyone was done safely and that I was set up for a good recovery.

I went back to the timestamp on my phone call to doublecheck, he showed up in 4 minutes from when we hung up. This was at 10 PM on a Weds night and he got my car unlocked right away. The only thing he didn't do was stop me from locking my keys in the car in the first place.

The lawn makes all of the other neighbors jealous, and they let me know because the husbands are nagged by spouses to make their yard as nice as ours. Our grandkids visit in the summer, and we feel safe about the materials used to treat. We evaluated several lawn care teams and Lawn Doctor was chosen for quality, price, and efficiency.

Stumbled across Greg a few years back when my lower back was out, I could barely move, and my aging chiropractor was out for the second day in a row. In pain, I googled the first chiro in my vicinity and Lettman came up.
Been going back ever since.... Greg is amazing at what he does, listens to you, and doesn't try to rope you into some huge treatment plan just so he can pad his bank account. He doesn't pressure you to come in for followups... he allows you to decide how frequently to be seen.
Another problem I had with my original chiropractor is that he was just not strong enough anymore to get my body to move. I run. I bike. I lift... and while I am not a body builder, my body can get really tight. Greg is plenty strong enough to get things moving.

I cannot say enough good things about Adam's pet hospital. We see Dr. Connie and she is wonderful. One of my three dogs suffered some pretty intense injuries at a boarding facility and has required multiple visits a week for the past seven months. I have gotten to know the staff at Adams and they would go above and beyond for your pet. They are flexible with scheduling and fitting my dogs in for last-minute appointments when needed. My injured dog is not great with people, and everyone at Adams does a wonderful job handling him. I am so thankful for the work that they do and the excellent care they provide my dogs.
A few days before leaving the country for a wedding, our dog, Hank got a corneal ulcer. Our regular vet was very adamant that he needed to be checked while we were gone to ensure that his eye was healing properly because he could have been at risk of losing his eye if things went wrong.
I was panicked, and our dog was staying with my parents in Dubuque while we were gone. Even with last minute notice, PetMed was able to come to their house - which saved my parents + Hank the stress of having to take him in, and on top of that they were great! My mom said they were quick + efficient, and super friendly. They were extremely kind to work with, and I am so grateful they were able to help us out!

A wonderful group of amazing instructors. Some classes are more challenging than others which is great if you’re looking for variety. Also, modifications are offered for any class which is helpful if you’re new! They never blare music so you can hear the ques clearly and they make you feel confident and comfortable no matter where you are in your fitness journey. Great for any level!

Meg has always been an amazing yoga teacher. She targets abs, legs, glutes, and back. She has an amazing voice. She always has a positive energy about her. The studio itself is very comfortable, hovering around 93 degrees, and it is usually scented with essential oils. It is one hour of amazingness!
Oh I can just do yoga at home, they say! Well, it just isn't the same and you're missing out by not attending a class at B-1 Yoga. Even if you consider yourself a longtime yogi, each class provides a new challenge. I've never had attended a bad class here in my years going to B-1. The Dubuque community is lucky to have this studio.
I love coming here for a monthly float! It's a chance to unwind and to not think about everything that stresses me out for just a 30min float. (They also offer 60min and 90min) Sometimes, I just can't relax or sit still, and my mind runs constantly, but my float is the one spot where I make it my mission to make myself my mission. The owner is super down to earth and has provided Dubuque with a unique spa experience.My personal recommendation:Wear the ear plugs, use the water pillow, and have the music labeled 'Dawn' play for the whole float. Enjoy!
I’ve been doing personal training with Travis for quite awhile. He’s been with me through the highs and the lows. Never judging, always steering me in the right path, and showing me that with hard work, comes results. He has always customized specific workout routines to help with my goals, and every workout there is something new. When I start his workouts I always ask myself how the heck I’m going to get through it, but I always do and end up feeling proud of myself thanks to him. Just walking into the beautiful, calming rooms is a wonderful start to the massage. Sindi has magic fingers that unwind all my muscles. She gives me relief from a knee surgery that damaged my nerves. It’s heavenly!

The name is appropriate. A very comfortable and professional experience. A nice room with shower and table is where the magic happens. Warm lotion and soft music make for a relaxing massage. Rub down from toe to head without a lot of chatter. Not something I do often but the next time I will be calling for a repeat visit
We were up in Galena for a few days and stopped to see Candy and Sue for 90 minute massages. We absolutely love coming to this salon and these 2 ladies always leave us feeling rested and refreshed. The place is clean and well run but the service and quality of massage from Candy and her coworker Sue is extraordinary. I would be a customer at China Star once a week if I lived up in Galena.
