Customer service is great, and I love the nurses, sonographers, and other medical staff I've met here! I used to make coffee for many of them everyday at the Mercy Starbucks, and they're always super friendly!But if you have adult congenital heart disease, go ANYWHERE else! The Iowa Heart CHD clinic is a joke. There's only 1 cardiologist, Dr. Malik, who's... definitely not my favorite, but let's leave it at that. From what I understand, he only sees adult CHD patients on Mondays, so you're going to wait at least 3 months for an appointment. Staff was very professional as they prepared me for surgery. Thoroughly explained my options. It was a very difficult time to be hospitalized because covid cases filled the hospital to the max and made a very busy day for the nurses and tech staff .
