It did take them some time to get to us. They probably had many other jobs. That's just a give in. The most popular businesses have the longest wait time. But once they got to us the work went quick and efficient. The workers knew their jobs and they did them. In the past we talked to Dan Young directly. But he probably has reasons why he can't anymore. Our main contact on the last roofing project was Jamie Hamilton-Howell. She was knowledgeable and worked with us well. Gave us a good idea of the pricing and other details and listened to feedback from us. There was a previous roofing job where Dan Young more closely directed a project. He had to deal with the poor job of a company from Clear Lake - I can't remember that other company's name but I know they are no longer in business. Dan and his team did the damage control on that well. We would likely seek their services for future roofing jobs. There will always be another storm - hail, wind, etc.

After wind damage in late fall of 2021 I had to have 2 roofs shingled. The company I had contracted with sold their shingling business and cancelled. I was having a hard time finding a contractor. I finally called Young Construction, pretty sure they would be way too busy but they were able to help me with far less wait time than anyone else. They gave me a date and actually were able to do the job sooner than expected. They finished the job in one day. The crew was professional and businesslike. They did a great job cleaning up. The shingles look great and have already been tested by high winds, rain and snow. I'm very happy with the work that was done. Special thanks to project manager Jamie Hamilton-Howell who came out and measured the roof, prepared our estimate and explained everything that would be done - and gave me tips on how best to tarp my old roof to keep the rain out of our attic.
