We had a series of unfortunate events happen to our poor condo (it was flooded by the unit above it, and then the company that was supposed to fix the damage did it more harm than good). When Natasha and her company, Kama'ina Flooring, became involved through Home Depot, everything changed for the better. I could tell that she really wanted to make us happy, and she followed up throughout our flooring installation to make sure everything was going smoothly even though she was off island at the time. The installers were professional and talented, and our flooring looks gorgeous. What a difference good people can make on your experience! “Trinity Tile Contracting did a great job installing my home's carpet. They removed all of the old carpet and padding, and carefully removed all of the existing thresholds and trim transition strips.
Starting with the communication and work appraisal with Mr. Parris Kawaauhau, that was done with a detailed explanation, patience and understanding. The workmanship of Devin Gallano, Ayzek Silva and himself was top notch. They reinstalled my threshold and transition strips to perfection. Upon completion, they vacuumed the carpet to ensure it was clean and free of any debris. Their hard work and attention to detail will ensure that my home's carpet will be exceptional for decades to come. The initial anticipated timeline was that the work would take upwards to a full half day, although they completed it all in just about three hours time. Throughout the job, Mr. Kawaauhau presented options for us, as to the different considerations towards the installation and how it may affect the aesthetics of the finished product. If I ever need any further carpet or flooring installation work to be done, I'll hire them again.“

“Kai from A Ok Cabinet was amazing!

We had a pipe leak- and needed drywall, paint, flooring and a new countertop. It seemed like a lot to handle but Kai was with us every step of the way and explained everything clearly for us. His team works so quickly and efficiently as well! Their showroom is also perfect for picking out all of what you need at once- we were able to pick out everything in one go and it was awesome!

“20 Years ago - I was the manager of a Large commercial Kitchen in Kailua. This company put in the floor without delays like some Government contractors will dream up. Not 1 Tile was broken moving the equipment back into the kitchen. Most times there is a few broken tiles. The floor worked great and is still working great - had a Floor drain problem and Dug up the floor - Had the 2 cases of tiles and baseboard backup left for just this reason. Also had the plumbing company do another job they said "they don't male that tile anymore" I had the Box and bam I made them buy the tile (not something they had laying around) The floor worked great to this day. Earthquake October 2011? This floor held up. They used Good Adhesive not just plain old stuff. I just thought about this floor is why I am doing a rating. Oct. 2020“

“Kekoa Kamalani installed new kitchen cabinets for us. As well as installing the cabinets he did all the electrical and plumbing work. Kekoa was always on time and achieved the schedule he committed to. The worksite was always clean at the end of the day. Kekoa is a skilled craftsman very courteous and well mannered.

“After getting several other over the top estimates to replace my carpeting with vinyl, I contacted Ceramic Stile. Their estimate was far more reasonable. They offered practical solutions that didn't break the bank. It took about three and a half days to do the work. Jim's son helped other than the first day. Both are professionals, pleasant and easy to talk to, they cleaned up after themselves, didn't block our driveway with their vehicles, kept the music and chatter down although the latter wouldn't have bothered me. They came and left when they said they would. We are very pleased with the end result. The flooring is exactly what we wanted. It's really hard to have carpeting when you have dogs. There's no way to really keep the floors clean even if you vacuum regularly and steam cleaning periodically. I would definitely hire them again for flooring work.“

“I was helping my son look for flooring for his townhouse he just purchased and was referred here by one of my coworkers. I'm glad I gave them a call and had them come out to give me an estimate. They were quick to come out to do an estimate and really worked with me to find the best pricing for what we wanted. “James and his crew did an excellent job on our bathroom. No matter our request the answer was always "no problem". The price was set at the start and did not change a penny. Our old 1979 bathroom was in desperate need of a redo, and Oahu Home Construction delivered. They showed up for the quote at the right time, the workers were here every day on time, clean, sober, and hard working! We closed ourselves off in other rooms due to COVID-19, but whenever we needed to interact everyone wore masks and was safe! We were particularly impressed by the custom trim work on the vanity, and the plumb tile installation on our local kine(not plumb) wall.
