I've always had somewhat of a bad experience with other dentist, but after reading many reviews, I decided to give Dr. Fujimoto a try. Fingers crossed, I had the best experience with Dr. Fujimoto and his staff. They made me feel at ease, and after a few porcelain crowns later, my smile was renewed. I feel confident that he has the most high tech dental equipment to diagnose any issues. His office is clean & modern. Appointments are always kept on time. His office assistant is also very responsive when I've called with urgent issues and tries to schedule ASAP. Jeff the dental hygienist is also awesome. “Thursday, 07/25/24 was my first day as a new patient that morning with Westridge location. Second I walked in, I was a bit anxious in the lobby not knowing what to expect after departing from Tokunaga Dentistry in Ewa Beach where I experienced the worst tooth extraction. Sadly I was with Tokunaga family own dental office for years since my 20s, but after my tooth extraction in June last month, I decided part ways.
This office made me feel at home and it’s very nice clean, presentable. The dental assistant was very kind and funny (I wish I remembered her name), she did a great job making me feel comfortable and at ease, reassuring I was not in pain or felt any pain while she did her job as she is required to. Sarah, the hygienist was so warming so kind sweet soft spoken and the tools she used on me as her own, the water suctioned and her tiny tip rinser that cleansed my gums so freshly - loved it! All the 3 of the staffs who treated me was amazing and their techniques and how they prep in a great sanitary way as well, loved it! I never had such a great experience anywhere since I was a child patient with Aiea Pediatrics. I am thrilled with the decision I have made to becoming a patient with Hawaii family dental. I love this place! I look forward to returning for my grown August 8. Thank you for taking such great care of me Sarah!“

“We are first time parents and our 18 month old had to get caps on some of his teeth. The thought is Nerve-wracking to say the least. Dr. Tom has a parent first approach to dentistry. When he says he would only do to his patients what he would do to his children, i believe him. He takes a less aggressive approach doing only the work that needs to be done as to not traumatize keiki into fearing the dentist. He was very comforting and very professional. He was able to do two caps on our sons teeth in a matter of 20 minutes start to finish. And in that same span of 20 minutes he was also able to evaluate other areas on concern with other teeth and do some minor preventative measures on other small cavities (baby dental carries). Our boy did get a little traumatized from it all but thats a given with dental work being done on young kids. Best thing is prevention. Very happy to have found a good dentist for our son.“

“i have been with uncle since 2007 and now it's almost the ending of 2024, uncle and aunty barb and Doreen has show nothing but love. yes i have went to other dentist offices but they are not like them (i would always complain to my parents that i would want to go to uncles office). every time i had a tooth ache i would come in late and UNCLE would still take time out of his resting nights to come and take of me. i went from crying and praying to not wanting to go and get checked up but now i'm more motivated to come in, not only are they my dentist doctors they are my support system, lawyers, therapist, and accountants (lol) they have helped me so much financially and they still take time out their days to call my insurance just so i can get covered (thank you aunty barb). Also thank you aunty Doreen for following up with my family too, for always find ways to fit my family in on their scheduling. if u ever need a good doctor pls come to their office, nice welcoming family and most importantly they will take care of you safely.“
