“I don’t usually write reviews, but I truly felt compelled to take the time to write this one.
My dog, Machiavelli, is extremely shy and anxious, and he’s had some very difficult grooming experiences in the past. Because of that, I’m always nervous trusting new places with him. From the moment we walked into Doghouse Grooming, I could feel the difference. The staff were calm, patient, and so incredibly kind, not just professional, but genuinely loving toward animals. They treated Machiavelli with such care, respect, and gentleness, meeting him exactly where he was emotionally. This was hands-down the best grooming experience I could have ever hoped for him. It meant everything to see my anxious boy handled with so much compassion and understanding. You can tell immediately that everyone there truly loves what they do. They treat your babies as if they were their own babies, and that kind of care is rare. We are absolutely customers for life, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much to the entire team, Machiavelli looks so handsome and stylish, and I couldn’t be happier. See you guys soon!

“I’ve been taking my 15 year old shih tzu here for over 5 years. This is the best place I’ve been in the area for grooming. They do a good job and I can tell my dog enjoys herself while she’s there. I’ve had experiences at other groomers in the area where my dog is very anxious when I pick her up…but never here. That’s how I know the groomer does a fantastic job with the dogs making them feel safe and loved while they’re there. You know the non-verbal communication you have with your dogs? “I can’t say enough good things about Megan’s grooming at Velvet Paw Groomers! She did an excellent job working with my Goldendoodle! Olive arrived with a butch job I had done trying to get out mats! She still had mats upon arrival and I gave Megan full permission to shave her so we could start over. When I picked Olive up she was so cute with velvet soft fur and was clipped so meticulously! And we can now see Olive’s eyes with her long lashes!!! Olive loved Megan and her poodles who she got to play with before her groom. I definitely will return again and again as I know Olive had a good experience and loved Megan!!! Thank you again…from the bottom of our hearts! Olive feels so much better! ❤️“

Came in on time, it's our first time w mobile groomers, my dog immediately ran up to her w excitement like he already met her. She even sent me text photos as she goes on with the service. “When I found out that Merissa started her own dog grooming business. I was soooo excited!! She use to groom my (now passed on) Frencthon named Olaf. She took such good care of him. So when my boyfriend and I adopted a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier from HHS, I knew just who to take her too. Merissa takes really good care of our furbabies and she knows how to work with them. I love that she focuses on only 1 dog at a time and that our furbabies aren't in a kennel for countless hours. “We love Alii Animal Unleashed and Alii Hospital and resort for Kekoa. We been with Alii since we received Kekoa almost 5 years ago. Dr Cooke and her team of veterinarians are amazing. In addition, we love their daycare and boarding. While on vacation, Kekoa always stays at Unleashed. Their staff is amazing and always takes good care of our fur baby. They have cameras in the play room and his suite. They keep us well informed of Kekoa while we are on vacation. We know that our fur baby is in good hands.“
