“My dog Mocha is a 6-year-old mastiff mix. He seemed to have hurt his leg or back while running and jumping for the new year’s fireworks. And a few days later, while jumping out of his kennel, he seemed to have hurt it again and this time it seemed more serious. I was so worried because he’s never been this way. He cried every time he tried to stand up and walk around. His front legs and shoulders were shaking when he tried to place his weight on them. I was terrified and needed help. But I also knew that taking him to the vet will definitely cost a lot, with all the x-rays, medicines and a short consultation, which might not fix his pain in the end. So my husband and I were contemplating for the options, and suddenly my husband found this chiropractic clinic in Kapolei, where we live close by. One might think “a chiropractor for dogs??”, but we thought we should try it, because recently we watched a random video on Youtube where dogs get chiropractic treatment and show funny/satisfied reactions. When we called in, the doctor was very flexible and considerate and we were able to schedule an appointment on the same day. It was so grateful because Mocha was in so much pain and couldn’t move around at all. When we took him to the chiropractor, my husband and I had to lift him together to get him in the van. That’s how much pain he was in. And then about 10 minutes after my husband took him inside, they came back out (after an initial treatment, to check if he felt better.. and then he went back in and got more treatment) and Mocha was literally walking normally without any scream. I heard many stories about chiropractic miracles, and this one seemed like one of them. I couldn’t believe how better he has gotten after one treatment. Of course it wasn’t a complete heal, and we went back a couple more times to make sure he was getting better, and every time Mocha saw the doctor, he felt much better. A few days ago, he couldn’t even change his posture without screaming in pain, but now he is walking around again and acting normal. I know he feels better since he now crawls under the table to get some pieces of food that my kids drop under their high chairs. We are so grateful that we have met Dr. Barber - he is a wonderful chiropractor and he really cares about his patients. I would like to give ten stars if I could! If your dog has joint/hip/back problems, don’t hesitate to contact this chiropractor! He will literally save your pet’s life and yours, too. ??????????“

“I was recommended to the Fascial Pain Clinic by my TMJ dentist. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect because I used to go to a difficult chiropractor who would only crack my back and do alignments, but Dr. Matsumoto showed me daily stretches and core exercises (besides the typical crunches and sit ups) to help me build my side core muscles that no one really thinks about. Turns out I was stretching wrong because once I started doing the stretches Dr showed me and how to do them properly, I actually started feeling better throughout my day and not just temporarily in the morning. Dr also told me that as long as I keep up with stretching and a balanced diet, I wouldn’t need to visit more often. I love that approach to health instead of just “okay see you in a month”. Best chiro I’ve been recommended to!“

“I tweaked my back I'm thinking from carrying my chubby grandson too much. The pain in my back gradually got worse until I was unable to get in and out of bed, or turning over without experiencing excruciating pain. I saw Dr. Jake, and he is very polite, and careful as he works. I didn't feel much better the first visit, but I followed his instructions about laying flat on my back with an ice pack underneath. I did this every hour for about 10 minutes. I also lied flat on my stomach with an ice pack on top my back and within a few days if this I felt 100% better, so it wasn't necessary to have a follow up appointment. The office is very nice, and friendly receptionist.“
