Ho’omana spa is a relaxing and serene spa located in the Olinda upcountry area. It is a wonderful spa with a rustic old Hawai’i experience. Each treatment begins with a chant or mele. The masseuses are skilled and an intake ensures focus on problem areas. Applied products, mists and oils, are inspired by native ingredients.
It was the rainiest wedding day in Maui history and Stephan still showed up and did an excellent job. I have nothing but gratitude for the hard work and dedication he put into his job. Worth every penny, he was truly outstanding. The video and pictures were perfection and I could not have asked for a better experience.

This company is great. David (the owner?) came to my house the same day I called. He confirmed what I suspected for a long time and hoped it wasn't true: that my very big tree was dead. Unfortunately, I was going on a 2 wk trip the next day. I didn't want thoughts of liability of this dead tree on my brain during my trip. Fortunately, David said he could get a crew in, possibly that afternoon, to do the job. The estimate was reasonable. It turned out they couldn't cut down the tree until a day or two later but it was fast enough for me. They were very professional and left me with a nice pile of mulch to use on my garden. The other competitor didn't call me back until about 2 days later.

Dr’s Michael & Noah Lebowitz are the “Real deal!!”Not to mention the cleanliness and wonderful fragrance from all the herbs in their office they are both relaxed, kind and amazing listeners!! You will Not feel rushed whatsoever!! They spend so much time listening and checking your body and their fees for this much knowledge and information is amazing and unheard of!!I’ve searched for years trying to find the right health practitioner and FINALLY found them!! My daughter and I first saw Dr Michael in March of this year mostly for inflammation that I could not change. He discovered many food sensitivities and beyond that some deep issues that he only “intuitively” could have found!!! No more inflammation due diet change to mostly carnivore and fruit I am 16 pounds down as well and no more digestion issues or bloating! My daughter who lives here was found to be so sensitive to mold . Some supplements and the advice to buy a $60 ozonator did the trick!! I saw Dr Noah last week and my successful journey continues. I brought my other daughter and 5 year granddaughter too and he’s helping them as well! He was also in the "trenches" helping his buddy save his friend's home in Kula. Dr Noah has seen my daughter 3 times the first week for her trauma and her housemates as well, might I also add at no charge for visit or supplements!These two doctors really really care about our health and beyond!!Mahalo Dr Michael and Dr Noah for all that you've done and continue to do for all those fortunate to be able to see you. She really cares about her patients. I am so grateful for the advice and adjustments she's given me over the years. I've also witnessed her giving exceptional care to a wide range of other patients -- she is beloved in our community for being an excellent chiropractor. She is skilled, patient, and really gets to know your body so she can support your health goals. The office also offers massage and other wellness services to support your wellbeing.

Which is probably the best review I can give.
I suffered from back pain for 12 years. I tried everything: massages, chiropractors, acupuncture, medications, and countless “solutions” at home. I bought a new mattress, new shoes, new chairs that promised to be perfect for back pain… nothing ever truly worked. Any relief was temporary and would fade quickly.
Then I had 12 sessions here.
They didn’t just treat the pain, they taught me how to manage my body. Simple exercises to keep everything in place, and even how to do everyday movements properly (like lifting things… which, it turns out, I had been doing wrong my whole life).
And months later… still no pain.
I’m incredibly grateful!

Maui Waste Systems exceeded my expectations -- Ava was very pleasant to work with and flexible as to the delivery date of the dumpster and accommodated me a couple times when it came to rescheduling and both the delivery and pickup drivers were adept in regard to unloading and reloading the dumpster without causing any damage to my driveway and yard
I highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent a dumpster on that they have a great collection of dumpster sizes and an affordable rate which allows you to have the dumpster up to 14 days without incurring an additional fee which really came in handy considering Thanksgiving weekend was a part of our rental period when we didn't get a whole lot losded during that time ...

This may be the first Yelp review I have done and had planned on it for a while now. I chose upcountry massage because they covered my insurance from a vehicle accident. I had been lucky enough to be the practice dummy from LMT in my family and friend circle. I have had literally several hundreds of massages done on me from different countries, and styles, and from amateur to top-rated massage therapists. I believe Erica A. at upcountry massage deserves to be rated as a top therapist on our island. She is very knowledgeable about how the body works, kind, and has a great intuitive sense of how to treat the body properly using massage.
Truly a magical sanctuary!!! It was the best decision ever to come here and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of peace. I stayed for a week-long retreat to heal from a traumatic time in my life. Eve is the best and created the perfect itinerary for my stay including sound healing sessions, adventures, and intuitive readings. I felt so lovingly cared for by everyone I interacted with here. The staff is amazing and all of the intuitive healers I worked with are so incredibly talented that it felt like years of therapy. They were able to help me process A LOT of heavy stuff in a gentle yet effective way that helped me feel safe enough to let go of some major emotional baggage. Everyone I worked with gave me so many valuable pieces of guidance and insight - I will treasure their words forever. Holly used to cut my hair when I lived in Haiku. Then I left the island for a couple of years and didn't find anyone. I returned to Kihei and thought I'd find someone on this side but alas... no luck. Holly gave me the first cut in years that works for me since she used to cut it. I get a lot of compliments. I still like to touch it up in the mornings but if I'm running late, a simple brushing and I can get up and go, feeling comfortable with my do.
I am Dr. Malik Cotter's partner and have an office next door to his. Daily, for years, I experience Dr. Cotter with his patients - he is such a sincere, kind and loving soul, and an incredible skilled practitioner of both traditional Chinese Medicine and vast knowledge of standard medicine. Supporting people in their health journeys is clearly Dr. Cotter's dharma and he is dedicated to it, and does extensive research to stay up-to-date. Bless his heart ~

Will at AllWood Flooring gave us honest, hardworking service on our wood flooring. He did a great job refinishing our floors and guided us towards a matte finish that we wouldn't have chosen without his advice - it made for a great, modern look, exactly the kind of finish we'd hoped for. On top of his expertise, there were a couple of small spots that didn't meet our exacting standards, and he came back out to make it right - he was honest and transparent about the whole thing, and made us feel like we were in good hands. He's told us it's not often that he has to come out for multiple trips, but in the case that he has to, we can attest that he will do it unhesitatingly, even for just a few small spots. Our floors look great, and I wouldn't hesitate to call Will for another job in the future.

This is great. It was all that it was advertised to be and more. Joe was a great bike-host. And the woman who helped him, her name started with an M, I can't remember, she was great too. It's a really great setup and plan, what they do. Really cool tour guide Brad to take you up there to the volcano and watch the sunrise which would normally require reservations and be very difficult to do. They do all that for you. Then you get a bike ride. That's all downhill and lots of fun. Then you have brunch in Paia and then another great ride. It sounds like a lot but it goes by really fast, too fast. Definitely wear where something warm at the top up there. It is cold and windy

Damon and his crew were detail-oriented, professional, punctual and got the painting of both the interior and exterior of our new home done quickly and efficiently. After the Maui storm, I found out that there was a hole in my ceiling. I contacted Jonathan on Sunday and within an hour, he had a technician on the phone. We had a plan on what the next steps were. I am amazed at the support that I get from this team and how fast they work.
Michael has been doing the ceiling of the condo. He has been at the condo every day for the past week. He is amazing. He communicates well with me and his work is wonderful and fast.
I was new on the island and had to find a place to board my cats, not knowing where to take Them I went to Google. Search and even though this facility was a little bit farther from my house there’s a veterinarian clinic on site. There’s also a horse boarding area. The staff was so friendly. The facility is so clean smelled good. The pets are all happy and my kitties even though it was her first day ever in boarding, they did extremely well. The girls were very patient with them and I’m definitely on my way back to have him babysit my cats again.
I've been going to Harold for over 25 years, he is absolutely the best. Not only does he do an amazing job on your taxes, he teaches you along the way on how to best manage and prepare for the upcoming year. Super helpful with a rental property we had. After loosing a business in the Lahaina Fires, he was quick to check in on our family to see if we needed anything, then helped us understand all the additional challenges that came after. Harold and his team are a great resource throughout the year as things come up. You'll be glad you went.
We took my dog to these guys to get shots and a nail clipping. We assumed it would take about 30 minutes. They returned in about 5 minutes and everything was done. I should add that my dog is utterly terrified of everything. She has the most anxiety of any creature I know. - and they were so warm and patient with her. I love this vet clinic, they are so awesome.
Emrie is incredible! Great haircut and just a genuinely beautiful person inside and out! Enjoyed each time she was able to trim my bangs or cut my hair in the 3 months I was on Maui. Highly recommend!
I love doctor Guzmen. I have done laser hair remover on my chin, upper/lower lip, neck, and underarms. It is so worth it. I love, love, love the fact that I dont have to shave my underarms anymore.
Visiting from Australia and short on time, I wanted a toe polish change instead of a full on pedicure. In addition to being very accommodating and helpful the tech who did my toes did a great job! Sorry I did not get her name but honestly everyone was very friendly and helpful. Good price, easy parking, & a variety of shops, cafes, and Foodland.
