Dr. Lucky helped get me off high blood pressure medicine after taking it for over 40 years! The medicine was destroying my health, and I am so grateful for her. She also got me off gout medicine, and replaced it with a healthier alternative. I recently had an infection, and instead of just prescribing medicine, she tested it at the lab first to make sure she didn’t give me medication I didn’t need.
That is the most refreshing thing I’ve heard a doctor say. I totally trust Dr. Lucky with my health, and you should too.

My hairdresser, who is beautiful, recommended Skin & Beauty Etc and gave me links to their FB and Instagram pages. The owner, Waileia, has created a really cool salon with a relaxing ambiance. I booked online for the Signature Facial, a one hour and 15 minute amazing treatment that included hydradermabrasion, jelly mask, derma planing and so much more, as well as a welcomed shoulder and scalp massage. I loved it soooo much I signed up for the monthly membership realizing that as I get older, facials are no longer just an occasional pampering, they really are essential. And Wai is a beautiful young woman with a gentle touch...my facial included everything she knew my skin needed. This was the best facial I have ever had on Kauai! I left with a gift certificate for my daughter for the same service because it truly is a gift women love to receive.

Herman Ferreira owns his own shop in the heart of the centrally located city of Lihue right across the street from the Lihue Civic Center. The outside looks like a regular building with a simple window-sign but upon entering you're hit with a burst of eclectic decor and a splash of bold colors. There are 2 chairs and a variety of colorful hair products nicely arranged on the shelves for sale. Herman specialized in cut and color but can pretty much do it all. His salon is truly a one-stop-shop for fashionable fix-ups and delightful do's that result in lovable, lustrous locks! I guarantee you won't be disappointed :)

NanSea's permanent makeup artistry is absolutely top notch! I was scared to entrust somebody with my FACE. My fears were completely unwarranted with NanSea and my face now looks so much better than before she did her artwork on it. I am so happy with the results. Her lashing skills are excellent! She had no problem making any adjustments just to make me happy, she let me know which styles suit my particular eye shape. I am sooo happy with my lashes, I have a weird lash line so extensions can be difficult to execute for my lashes, but she executed & made sure I was happy with my set!
Vacationed on this island over the 4th of July. Chose this location because they offer an oceanside cabana massage. It was AMAZING!!! Scheduled mine for earlier morning. It was quiet and peaceful and the sound of the ocean was so relaxing. Ray focused on my problem areas, while also being gentle around my newly sunburned areas.

Spoke with Rob a week before our trip he was great to talk with sent him our tattoo ideas he picked us up from the cruise and took great care of us. We had time constraints and even changed some of our tattoo ideas. He never complained or refused our request. I highly recommend this tattoo parlor and any of their artists. If I could I would give them 6 stars out of 5. Great experience and if you go hopefully you get some face time with Moxie the miniature dachshund she is such a sweetheart. This is a great place to get your first tattoo! Last minute, I decided to get 2 fine line tattoos on my days in Kauai. I looked into getting my tattoos at The Libra Club but they were too pricey and had no availability/ walk ins. Thankfully I found this place and Jon had an appointment. Jon was precise and had a great personality. He accommodated 3 of my friends after my appointment very last minute, and they came out great. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking into getting their first tattoo in Kauai!
We received a few bids to have our 20+ year old solar water heater to be replaced with a regular water heater tank. NFR was really responsive with a SOW and quote and I had the opportunity to speak with Charissa at the office who helped answer several questions. They were able to fit me in almost right away and had sent two gentlemen, Yoshi and Colt, who were both polite and efficient at completing the job. Prices were fair and I am happy with their work. I’d definitely utilize their services again! FYI, they are also Home Depot’s sub-contractor.
I purchased vinyl flooring from Home Depot then installation was contracted to Flooring Innovations. 2 persons did the job in 3 days instead of 5 days that was expected; and while we were able to stay in the house. Lead man went beyond what were expected: swapping out the rusted bi fold door hinges, plumbing with the toilet; and throwing away my old rusted screen door that was sitting out for 2 weeks. My required plumber by Home Depot was scheduled on Friday but because flooring was done 2 days earlier on Wednesday, the lead man did it himself. I surely saved some serious big bucks by not having that required plumber. I'm a very happy camper knowing that he did a great job. His helper could have done a better job cleaning up, though.
We just had Kauai Flooring & Interiors install new carpeting in our upstairs loft in Wailua Homesteads. We are so happy with the product, the customer service, the great communication and flexibility of this company. We had our beautiful Koa luxury vinyl floors installed by Arnaud from Wisteria Lane in Lihue. We had an excellent experience with both!! But they went above and beyond when after a few years they were able to find our estimate and receipt that I had lost, for our taxes. Nadine was extremely helpful with this transaction, their corporate also. We would highly recommend this business to all.

When you talk about great service, Mr. T's checks all the boxes. Amazing communication from Rayna and Jullynn when you schedule with them. They give you plenty reminders and the technicians are always professional. The products they use must be great because pests are a thing of the past at our properties.
Termites decided to move into our bathroom cabinets. Aloha has a fumigation facility and hopefully the Termites have been terminated. Staff at Aloha did everything on time as promised at quoted price. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Wow! Kyle is an amazing, very effective chiropractor! I was having some bad hip and leg problems when I went to him yesterday and he was very thorough in figuring out what was wrong and correcting the issues. I am so thankful that I can now continue my golfing holiday! Another plus was his great sense of humor and he was just as curious and committed as I was to figure out the issues and didn't stop until he was satisfied with the improvements.
I was on the island for vacation, and the day I arrived I needed to get adjusted after days of travel. Dr. Tyler Nagauo and his team got me in the same day! I went straight from the airport to the appointment. He also got me in on a follow up appointment just a few days later on a Saturday! I couldn’t imagine not getting adjusted those two times as I was in terrible pain. The office is spotless and very clean, and very easy to find. I highly recommend this chiropractor for locals or visitors to the island.

Amazing, professional, up-front with costs, skilled, compassionate and dedicated to pet, accommodating, and go-above-and-beyond. It has been a medical journey with my cat, Damien. They have been exemplary in caring for him from emergency hospital visits, FLUTD Idiopathic cystitis diagnosis, Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery, visits and phone calls for disease flare-ups, and medication management. We have seen all 3 vets and they work well as a team (due to Damien’s need for intense, frequent care), and each one of them is exemplary. The vet techs are kind, earnest, and talented, and the front desk team is organized, expertly multitasks, and is empathetic, and skilled at handling a stressed pet owner. It is obvious that all of them love animals and are passionate about what they do. I'm so thankful for this clinic; they have literally saved my cat’s life numerous times.
My dog hates the vet. This vet did the best job I've ever seen trying to help train that fear away. The vet even came out after the appointment to sit around and shower my dog with some love so hopefully next time he's a little less nervous to visit.

I visited Garden Isle Massage in Līhuʻe, Kauaʻi, Hawaii [4303 Rice St] on Wednesday, 01/21/26, around 11:30 AM. I came here because I purchased the Deep Tissue Massage for my mother as a birthday present. The booking was done on Booksy. Nathaniel "Nate" Yesan (LMT), the small business owner and massage therapist, facilitated the service and it truly exceeded expectations. He took the time to understand exactly which areas needed attention and applied the right level of pressure where it was most needed. His attentiveness and technique were extremely noticeable, which resulted in an incredible massage. On top of that, the cost was around $100, which was very affordable compared to many other massage businesses in Kauaʻi. His pricing was more than reasonable for the quality of care provided. The inside of the massage studio was cozy, peaceful, and calming. Relaxing music was playing throughout the massage session, which added to the soothing atmosphere. The fish tank was nice to observe and enhanced the tranquil vibe. Lastly, Nate offered complimentary water in case of experiencing thirst. I highly recommend Garden Isle Massage. Nate delivers phenomenal massage therapy, and his pricing is hard to beat for the level of service he provides.
Loya is amazing! My wife needed a massage after a tough, nine mile hike to Hanakapiai Falls and we are so glad we found Angel’s Touch Massage! Loya worked on my wife’s legs, hips, back and shoulders in her eclectic studio, and then invited me to learn her technique. She then worked on me a bit and afterwards had me massage my wife, and vice-versa, so we could learn the process. Loya was sweet, knowledgeable and very helpful. If we were fortunate enough to live in Kauai we would go often!
