The owners, Christine and Ken, are some of the kindest, sweetest souls you’ll ever meet, and their caring energy shines through in everything they do. The entire staff is so thoughtful and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do.

The spa itself is spotless, comfortable, and has such a calming vibe that immediately puts you at ease. They also offer amazing packages that make the experience even more special and such a great value.

“Faren is the bomb.com, heard about Faren through my sister who said her friend got some brows and lips done with Bae Hawaii and it looked so nice and awesome. So I looked into her info on IG and I was sold. I quickly asked some questions and she responded in minutes communication on point. Her work is absolutely beautiful just like her inside and out. “I had a delightful experience at Couture Claws! This was my first visit, and I got matched with Jordan, a Pedicurist and one of the owners. I booked a Deluxe Couture Pedicure (90-min). After a foot soak in their signature copper pot, Jordan gave his full attention to cleaning and exfoliating my feet after which both my feet and lower legs were given various luxurious treatments ending with a wonderful massage. I particularly loved that many of the treatment products they use are created by the wonderful Amanda with Paper Crane Soaps :-) To finish, my toenails were painted with my selection from a wide color palette of polishes. Couture Claws is a cozy local shop set up by a local couple in partnership with other talented personal care professionals. I particularly enjoyed the welcoming vibe, the lively banter and the overall community feel of the space. Lastly, I also appreciated that Jordan offered me a discount due to a "special" that I had not known about previously as well as a take home gift for being a first time customer. And there is plenty of parking :-)“

“Yes it may be very difficult to get through but thank God for redial button. We always feel we hit the jackpot whenever we get through and be able to place an order. That is after trying for 2 hours. Makes eating it all the more satisfying. Whatever roll you feel like eating that day, make sure you get the spicy mayo. A roll will feed 2 not so hungry sushifanatics. But why order just one if you worked on it for 2 hours. You know what I mean?“

“I booked the Island Cooler treatment at the Lotus Center on my recent trip to the Big Island. I've been fortunate to visit many spas, and I was so deliriously happy with my experience at the Lotus Center. There were some minor issues with scheduling (I think I received my treatments in a different order than advertised, and received a facial instead of the aloe wrap that is listed in the treatment description) but the esthetician who administered my scrub and facial was one of the kindest and most talented I have ever had the pleasure of receiving a service from. I believe her name was Lorene and I cannot say enough about how talented she is. She was so caring and comforting, and I walked away from my treatment absolutely melting with joy and relaxation. I had a minor sunburn on my back and both the masseuse and esthetician were mindful of that during my treatment and I didn't feel any pain. The spa itself feels a little dated, and I would have appreciated a robe to wear in between treatments, but ultimately I like to go to the spa to feel relaxed and pampered and I definitely walked away feeling like that.“
