Akamai glass came through in spades! We needed to have shower glass installed and they did a terrific job. The guys were professional and the installation flawless. I am grateful that they made a hike to the north shore even when they did not have too many jobs here. Much appreciated!
I ordered several glass table tops from them. They were all correctly sized. My mother picked them up and they helped load them into her car. It took a few weeks for my order, but it was worth it. Mahalo.
On one hand, they are the only location on the island I’ve found that has their own glass inventory that they can cut to size. On the other hand, they are incredibly unprofessional, constantly losing/misremembering measurements. Just today, we checked in with them for an order we’d placed last week, and they had simply “forgot to put the order in.”They provide a valuable service, but they do so at a substandard level. If you decide to use them, know you’ll have to maintain professional standards on your own end, as they generally can not be trusted to do that.
