I read a few of the reviews, and I was worried when Yamaz was assigned as my plumber through AHS. I called on Saturday, and was told I would be contacted on the next business day. Monday, 9am, my phone rings and Yama says he is on his way after he asked what was wrong. Being a broke-chanic, I guessed wax ring on my toilet causing a leak. Yame came within the hour with a wax ring ready to remove and replace. He immediately recognized that the leak was coming from the gasket between the water tank and the bowl. He told me that he did not have the gasket for that toilet, and that he would go and get it and call me when he was in his way back from Waipahu. He called an hour later and said that Waipahu did not have it and he would have to drive to town to get the gasket. He asked if I could wait until first thing tomorrow. I agreed. Tuesday 0900, Yama calls, says he is on the way, there by 0930. Remove and replaced the seal with a stainless steel gasket instead of rubber because it is a better gasket and will last the life of the toilet. He was out after completing the job in less than an hour. Great work, great service, and a genuine nice guy. Enjoy the pickled onion bruddah Yama!
Made a AHS service request due to no hot water, read some of the reviews on here I was a little discouraged and canceled it, also canceled because I like to try do do things myself if I can. Literally 3 minutes after canceling, Tad from YAMAZ called me for the service request, I'm stoked he called! As we were chatting he saw that I canceled and asked me what was going on with my water heater. Braddah knew right away over the phone and diagnosed it right away he even walked me thru the simple steps to get my water heater back up and running. It's the Holiday season 2023, I wish this braddah nothing but the best holiday! Mahalo Tad! Appreciate the local customer service! Much Alohaz!
This was my second time using Yamaz Plumbing through American Home Shield. The first time was to deal with a toilet that was continuously running. This time to deal with a broken garbage disposer under the kitchen sink. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Yamaz Plumbing. This time he diagnosed my 27 year old Kenmore disposer as terminal and replaced it with a new InSinkerator unit. The new unit is smaller and quieter. I'm a satisfied customer.
