“Coming from Quitman, Mama and me got to Exit 22 before the storm caught us. Heavy rain fell and lightning popped all around. It was before eight and we didn’t know if a soul would be at Valdosta Eye Center as we pulled in, But there someone was, holding the door open, waving us in through the storm.Kim ushered us in, seated us in the break room because a tornado warning had been issued, and Mama was never scared. Kim was calm, cool, and even though chaos was all around, had it going on.In due time, things calmed down, the doctor examined Mama, and we were homeward bound.Anybody can do good under perfect conditions, but Valdosta Eye Center does excellent under the worst.Thanks Kim!“
