I had an excellent experience with AR Psychiatry. The provider was compassionate, attentive, and truly took the time to listen without making me feel rushed or judged. Every time I visit, I am smiled at and greeted warmly, despite myself believing I sometimes look unfriendly. The office staff is very nice and attempts to be helpful whenever they can. I've seen someone upset about waiting so long that voiced it in a pretty rude tone. The office staff did their best for him and even after he left did not resort to talking negatively about him or anything which I am not used to seeing or experiencing. When I had my first appointment, one of the ladies, I believe the office manager, was so empathetic. I have been coming here several years now and have always had a wonderful experience. The office staff is lovely, always answering my phone calls and helping work out issues with insurance. Dr. Patel is extraordinary, and I highly recommend him especially if you have multiple mental health concerns or complex medical issues and medications that need consideration in addition to your mental health. For therapy, I see Denese Henderson and she has had a significant, positive impact on my life.
