I highly recommend this small family business! The big companies seem to only want to install new units not fix the old ones Luckily I have a few window units in storage, so it wasn't an emergency when my upstairs unit went out, and I didn't have to buckle under the pressure of the situation. Emperor came out. they didn't try and sell me a ,$9000 new unit, they simply repaired it for $300, and it took them less time to fix it than the big company guy did determining that it couldn't be fixed. You might not get as lucky as me, but at least you know you you are using someone who is doing the right thing instead of selling you something you do not need!
Emperor replaced our system several years ago and has maintained it ever since. I have been very happy with their work. They are responsive, flexible, courteous, consistent and above all very competent in HVAC. I recommend Emperor and Tony very highly.
