“There is a BUT. I arrived, I was the first one there and got into the chair right away🥰. Everybody I encountered was super nice 😊. The shop is clean and looks nice too✨. I did have to call my mom to translate because I was trying to tell the lady that I didn’t want rollers and didn’t want to sit under the dryer but it seemed like I wasn’t being understood but no biggie because I’m not fluent like my mama yet🤗. I wound up not getting the rollers but was still put under the dryer, which was a little frustrating😬. There was no there to jump into blow drying my hair at the time so I reluctantly agreed to go ahead and go under the dryer in hopes that it would make the appointment faster (letting my hair dry as I waited for someone). I was under the dryer for about an hour 😕. I can’t remember at what point I was told BUT I was told that it’s an additional $10 to blow dry 🤯. I had never heard of that and I’ve been to salons across the country. It was also surprising because I saw another young lady sit under the dryer with rollers and still get her hair blow dried. So if the blow drying is going to take place anyways, why charge extra? 🤔. I didn’t understand that part but other than that, it was a great experience and my hair turned out amazing 🤩. If you don’t mind paying $10 extra for blow drying then this is the place for you🤭. I want to go back but I can’t justify the additional cost for something that will happen anyways.“

“Angie is very pleasant and accommodating. She was able to make late evening arrangements after my last-minute appointment time change. The two ladies who did my hair did an amazing job, and they work very fast. Angie is my usual braid tech, and I always have a great experience.“

I expressed concerns about my hair, and Dai gave me options and wanted me to feel comfortable. She did a natural style with braids in the front and two strand twists and the back, and I loved it! So neat and it has lasted for two weeks (just like Dai said it would lol). I really appreciated the education and transparency Dai provides throughout the entire service. She asks about your routine, offers suggestions for products based on her expertise, and answers any questions you have. Also, that wash.. best I’ve ever experienced, gentle but still felt cleansing. Dai is so sweet and knowledgeable, and I would run back to her chair!“

She's a professional: timely, skilled, personable. I like that she asked questions to get to know my preferences and offered suggestions that would fit my look.

She cut layers into my hair that held style through an outdoor date night, a concert of singing and dancing, interstate travel, and a good recovery nap! I got lots of compliments. She shared knowledge of the products used and took really great care of my hair.
