Michaelangelo’s came out immediately to not only give me an estimate but to also show me how to do it in phases because I couldn’t afford much at the time due to the previous company. All Star Landscaping gave me very reasonable rates and performed all the work as scheduled with complete satisfaction. They get their good quality sod fresh from Alabama for a lot better price compared to most companies who get it from Georgia which is a lot more expensive. “We recently hired Aaron and his crew for a massive tree removal project, and they were outstanding from start to finish. Professional, kind, and incredibly easy to work with—everything was handled efficiently and with great care. “I recently used them for a project. The end result ended up pretty good, but I feel like there were too many speed bumps and a lack of communication along the way. The workers were great, and worked hard. The manager, Sean, was very nice and knowledgable, but definitely seemed spread way too thin, which led to portions of the project being miscommunicated or missed, and having to spend extra time to get them redone. Our project consisted of replacing a couple areas of grass with artificial turf, another area with Zoysia sod, replacing some walkways, adding some landscaping, and trimming some trees. All of that was eventually done, but the turf ultimately had to be torn up, reflattened, and nailed propertly as it was ripply/bubbly at first and coming up at the sides. Some areas we had requested turf were missed at first due to confusion, lack of communication. I think they just need some better oversight by having more management resources or fewer projects so that the proper amount of time can be spent. Like I said, ultimately it ended up pretty good and the price was decent as well.“

“Scapes did an absolutely amazing job creating a side yard at our house. While the finished product speaks for itself, I could tell it was going to turn out well when I observed how the workers conducted themselves while doing the work. At the end of every day, the site was cleaned up, trash was hauled away, tools were put away, work materials were covered up to protect them from the elements and to prevent them from looking unsightly. They were excellent craftsmen!

This is one of the only times I can recall hiring a vendor for a house-related project that didn't require a number of call-backs for punchlist items.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Golden Pine Straw. They had a person out to quote the job within 24 hours and then were available to do the work that same weekend. Existing mulch removed, weed control matting was placed, mulch replaced and additional mulch added. They made sure to remove and replace the mulch retaining stones so the fabric was underneath them.

Will be using them for any and all similar jobs in the future.
