“We had Vincent (Jack) with Classic Design Home Repairs come out to repair and remodel our master bath due to a water leak. I was impressed from the start as he was on time to give us the quote. Once the repairs started, he was on time everyday. He was very professional even laying out paper on our hardwood floors and carpet in the bedroom as to not track dirt into the house. The work took about 3 weeks as it was a pretty big job. We are 100% satisfied with our whole experience dealing with this company. He was referred to us because of the awesome work he does. We have several more projects to do in our home and they will be our first call! “Harden is awesome! She is patient and informative. We had a third party radon short-term and long-term test in 2021. The short-term returned at 27.6 pCi/L and the long-term at 12.1 ± 1.6 pCi/L. These results are horrifying! After some research on mitigation specialists, I decided on Smart Space Atlanta. Within 48 hours after installation of the mitigation system, which was pretty much custom since I requested they conceal the system running it through my floors and ceiling versus outside alongside my house, my radon average was 0.3. Fast forward to two years later, I tested two separate areas of the basement with short-term test conducted by Alpha Energy Labs. The room furthest away from the mitigation system returned at Less than 0.9 pCi/L and the main area of the returned at less than 0.7 pCi/L. These are pretty amazing results! “I tried to work with 3 other construction companies before finding this one! DJD Construction kept rescheduling. Some guy named Campos gave an estimate and wouldn’t respond to schedule the beginning of the project. I was about ready to give up.I sent Hawk Construction an email and got a response within 24 hrs. The Senior Project Manager, Jerome, came by a couple of days after that and emailed me a comprehensive estimate 2 days later. We were able to get started the next week and it was such a pleasant experience. Jerome and Vincent were very responsive to emails, calls, and texts and the workers they used were always respectful of my home. Even though I added a few requests, they still finished 1.5 weeks before the project was scheduled to be complete. I was able to remodel my kitchen, finish my basement, and add a room in the basement in less than a month.I had a few do-it-yourself projects that I was trying to do at the same time, and Vincent would even give me some directions with those. It felt like they genuinely cared about my family and my home. I have some other things I’d like to do this year and I can’t imagine even getting another estimate from a different company. “Excellent service. The technician was subcontracting through another company. His work was quick and excellent quality. He refinished my bathtub so it looked virtually new. The bottom had been basically worn out after 11 years of use. What I expected to take 3-4 hours, like mentioned by the main company, took about 30 minutes. I wish that I could have located him directly because his price was a lot more reasonable than going through the main company. Especially after seeing how quickly it was done. All in all a great and professional experience. I would definitely recommend him opposed to paying the higher cost of going through a larger company and paying the additional overhead.“
