Do NOT deep condition if you are natural. I was naturally for years & got the "deep condition". My hair was permed. Breaking off, bone straight, completely damaged one week later when I went to wash it. Never curled back up. I had to do the big chop at 26 years old. I had no choice. When I told the owner, she said accused me of getting it done elsewhere like she didn't remember me being here from a week ago. Other than that... the service is typically quick, process relatively fair.

Went in for a shampoo and blowout. I wanted to give 2.5 but it wasn’t an option because to be fair, I liked the fact that they did bone straighten my hair however, she said that she was using some leave in conditioner, etc . But whatever they used had a huge chemical smell that lasted in my hair for literally 3 weeks, including AFTER 2 shampoos ! and I have natural coarse hair, that as a child have had to use a pressing comb or past perms to straighten and even then with humid weather or a sweat would cause it to go back to its natural state but what they used left my hair straight for a little over a MONTH!?!?? and still smelled like chemicals combined with high heat...read full review

I went on a Wednesday free wash. I got my hair blowout which is now higher from 45 to 50 now 60$ and for the ends trim it’s a extra 15 no rebuttals . I was upset about how short my hair was cut when it was only supposed to be my “split ends”I been going here since 17 I’m now in college coming back to get my hair done but got surprised at the END of my hair do to 70$..Very disappointed - I don’t even think they take they reviews seriously atp.Service: Updos
