“I thoroughly enjoy the massage and benefits after each session with Trenna!I'm a big fan of Swedish massage for relaxation, so for years I just went to the typical strip mall massage locations that just focus on getting people in and out of the door. While the massages at those places felt good in the moment, I never truly felt like I got any benefits from it after the fact. I would actively tell the strip mall massage therapists to avoid certain areas on my thighs because of a bicycle accident I got into nearly 10 years ago. The accident caused my thigh muscles to become very tense, sore, ticklish and uncomfortable when any item barely brushed across it, not to mention there was a lot of scar tissue. I thought this injury was one I would have to deal with my entire life.After deciding to make a change and visit with an educated massage therapist who genuinely enjoys what they do, I scheduled an appointment with Trenna. Together, we developed a therapeutic massage that best suits my needs. Trenna educated me on why I was experiencing the pain and discomfort I had for so long and provided some much needed muscle work while also keeping communication open with me during the massage to ensure I was okay with the pressure. Immediately after the muscle work, I felt a sense of relief as the pain and discomfort I experienced for nearly 10 years had melted away. In the days after, I noticed how life changing the muscle work with Trenna was because my thighs were no longer sensitive to the touch and didn't tense up when doing normal tasks around the house. Even something simple as making my bed was a new experience- the front of my thighs could touch/brush across the comforter while I was making my bed and it was no longer uncomfortable.I had no idea going into my first massage with Trenna that I really needed this muscle work, I just asked for a relaxing massage. However, Trenna is very knowledgeable and educated me on why I was experiencing the pain that I had. While Trenna would have completely done a full body relaxation massage if I said I was uncomfortable with her addressing my thigh pain, I'm glad I trusted her to do the muscle work that needed to be done because I myself did not know what I needed. Trenna is an expert when it comes to massage therapy! I now see her for a combination of relaxation massage and muscle work therapy depending on what I need on massage day. Thanks to Trenna, the massage therapy benefits last longer than just on the massage table! Trenna truly changed my quality of life for the better.“
