“Shaggy isn’t just a Master Loctician, he’s a loc magician! He wrestled my locs (mats🤣) for about 5 hours today…. Needless to say, he won! I started my journey playing with dread extensions that I purchased, then made my own dreads with synthetic hair, all during a time when my mother was sick with cancer. During that time, I wanted to chop all my hair off & my husband didn’t want me to do it. Since I had tossed around the idea of having dreads for years, when my mother passed I decided to commit to having a half head of dreads. It will feed my husband’s need to keep my hair long, remind me of my mother (she saw me with a full head of extensions) and I will always go to Shaggy to maintain them. Shaggy rocks. He knows what he is doing with type A1 hair. If he can tame my matted beast, he can do any kind of hair type. I was super nervous that it would hurt since I’d never let anyone else touch them and they are 8 months mature, however Shaggy knows how to handle them & it was virtually painless! “I had a very good experience at Hair Motion Salon. Kathy was very kind, she told me everything about the keratin treatment. Usually when the hair stylist applies the keratin treatment on my hair, my scalp starts to burn and gets really itchy but not with the product Kathy applied on my hair. She washed my hair first, applied the keratin all over my hair then blowed my hair. It was super fast. If you’re looking for salon that does keratin treatments, this is the right one. “Brought my 18 month old for his first hair cut.Barber did amazing.They have snacks nearby to buy for kids if needed.The Barber immediately gave him a hot wheel when he sat in his chair but other then that nothing really aimed for kids.The place is fun and lit up and more so for grown men I'd say.But the cut is great, he took his time on the cut and was very patient with my son.The cut was 20 bucks.Minus the snacks I left him the change from a 40. I was very pleased.Bilingual establishment.Def recommend to others.“
