“I was looking for a Latin beauty salon in my area with a good reputation. I stumbled upon la Diosa of Hair on Instagram. I really loved the convenience of being able to make an appointment on the website and I’m a little impulsive and I was going for a big change so I wanted to do it as soon as possible and I made the appointment Sunday night while I was laying in bed and by Monday afternoon I had a whole new look. I went in for a Bob haircut and balayage highlights over my dark hair. Overall, I was really pleased with the results and overall experience at the salon. My appointment was for 12 PM and I was in the chair promptly on time and I was done by 2:30. My natural hair color is very dark and she was very honest with me and let me know that there was a potential that the color may not take because of how dark my natural hair color is. Fortunately, for me, it did exactly what I wanted to do, but I appreciated the honest approach, the service was very reasonably priced and I felt like She was very attentive. “I have truly never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day and was very much in large part due to the wonderful care to detail Adela put into ensuring that my hair and makeup was absolutely perfect.

As a bride with Asian features, I was especially apprehensive in finding a HMU artist who would be able to enhance my features and work with my thick hair texture. While I do my own makeup regularly everyday, it’s very different to have to explain to someone else exactly how you want your makeup done and it can be difficult to find the right words to communicate that. Adela was exceedingly patient in listening to my feedback and making the small tweaks here and there to curate exactly the look I had envisioned, something that was elevated but still felt like me.

Adela, Isa, and Bre were the HMU artists for day of and they were exactly the right fun vibes for getting ready with the girls. “First time coming to this Salon and everyone is so accommodating! My hairstylist - Anastasia is so amazing! I came from a beach vacation and my hair was very frizzy & dry but she worked her magic! She was very patient and took her time to make sure my hair will be restored! 😊

Alena, the nail technician was also nice. My only comment is that they only have a really limited color options for regular polish (I can’t do gel polish at work) hence I have to opt for regular polish. Other than that my nail experience was pretty good.
