My precious dog is battling aggressive cancer, and despite everything we have done, the cancer has returned. We reached out to Dr. Basta hoping there might be additional options available to us. He was not involved in her initial care, but from the very first time I met him, I knew we had found someone truly special.
Dr. Basta is, without a doubt, one of the most sincere, knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring veterinary doctors I have ever encountered. He took the time to listen, explain everything, answer my countless questions, and most importantly, treat my dog with the same love and respect I have for her. During such an emotional and overwhelming time, his compassion and genuine concern have meant more to me than I can put into words.
I also want to specifically recognize Kris. The kindness, patience, and compassion shown by Kris have made an incredibly difficult journey a little easier. It is clear that this team genuinely cares about the animals they treat and the families who love them.
My great regret is that I wish I had reached out to Dr. Basta sooner.
