“Dr Sandhu is very good with my over active 2 yr old Athena. Athena gets very excited when we pull into the lot! The staff is great with her!
She struggles with allergies and Dr Sandhu knows what works for her. Wednesday she was a “hot spot” mess and today! WOW what a difference.

“We have been going to Santa Cruz Animal Hospital for several years now. We love Dr. Stanton and she has given all our babies great care and still does! We first met her and the staff at the hospital when our regular vet was out of town and our 10 yr old girl Sophie (yellow lab / german shepherd mix) stated acting funny at home and became very very bloated. We called several places and Santa Cruz was the only vet clinic who answered and told us to come in. The end result was Sophie's abdomen was twisted and Dr. Stanton did emergency surgery, which saved Sophie's life. We ended up having Sophie for two more years before we lost her to cancer. We credit Dr. Stanton and the staff for this extra years. Since that time our vet retired and we have remained with Dr. Stanton and Santa Cruz. She has seen us through the loss of Sophie, the additions of Jackson, Stella, Emily and now Virgil (all rescues)! She also helped us to say goodbye to Sophie, Jackson and Stella when their time came. I can say she and the staff were compassionate, supportive and understanding during those times. Being honest, I will say they are more expensive than some others, but the care is exceptional. They have always found a way to fit us in when we had a concern or worry and Doc took the time to speak with us by phone when necessary. You can't go wrong with the doctors here.“

“I had to take our baby (cat) in to Blue Pearl on 2/10 as an emergency. The whole team were magical, they were attentive, friendly, but professional. The best part was the lengths they went to, to break down the costs and explain them to me and the reasons for the tests. The write up of the visit and the coordination with our regular vet are the best I've ever encountered. Special shout out to Erika, who I adored.“

“If I could give this place 100 stars I would. I brought my dog in on Saturday (Jan 3, 2026) because she peed blood on the carpet. They explained that they would take Lily and see if she had an UTI. Dr. Thornhill came in and told me all they got was blood. Lily had a mass on her kidney that I knew about. Doctor Thornhill explained that Lily's mass had burst and she was bleeding internally and that the cancer on her kidney spread into her bladder. I asked if I could wait and let our Vet put Lily to sleep, and she said no. So I made the unbelievably painful decision to let Dr. Thornhill do it. I could not ask for a more compassionate Vet or human being. She hugged me, and said she would go get Lily ready. They eventually brought her into a private room with me so we could have some last minute time. I knew at that point Lily was dying. After awhile, Dr. Thornhill came in and quietly and gently helped my baby cross the Rainbow Bridge. When Lily was gone, i just couldn't stay there. I got up to leave and Dr. Thornhill gave me a big hug and she was crying too. She is a living angel, truly. My Vet (who is a fabulous human)called on Monday morning to say he got all the paperwork from Dr. Thornhill and she was 100% correct in terms of what decisions she made. And I did the right thing as well. God knew Lily was going to cross the rainbow bridge, so he sent me to Dr. Thornhill, who he knew would be a blessing to both Lily and I. Thank You to all the staff who helped my Lily that night. You were all fantastic too.“

“I cannot recommend Dr. Hart and Rachel highly enough! The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. My cat is very nervous, especially around strangers and vet visits, and they handled him with such patience and care. Dr. Hart took the time to move at his pace, explained everything clearly, and never rushed the process. Rachel was equally wonderful. She’s gentle, reassuring, and clearly so tuned in to animal behavior. Together, they made what is usually a stressful ordeal feel so easy.

The fact that they came to our home made an enormous difference, as well. It was clear how much they truly care about the animals they work with - not just getting through the appointment, but making sure everyone feels safe and respected along the way. If you have an anxious pet (or just want a vet who is genuinely compassionate and fantastic at what they do), this is the team for you! Me and my cat are so grateful to have found them!“
