“I found Everyday K9 after three other training attempts with my reactive German Shep/Mastiff mix, Luna. I was coming home in tears daily after walks and begged my spouse to try one more time if I could find a recommended trainer. He agreed, and I googled the best dog trainers in my area and came across Everyday K9, sent a message, and not so patiently waited for a response. I was still a little reluctant to put Luna in another training program, and Heather allowed us to come to a class without our dog. I was so astonished at all of the well-behaved dogs, and people sharing their stories, so we decided to enroll Luna because all I ever wanted was to enjoy life with my dog and do the things they were doing. I am beyond the moon happy that I decided to give it another shot because I do not know where I would be without the community, Heather and Chad. They have all been a major support group not only for me, but for now my two Shepherds and I would not trust another trainer or team with my dogs.

When I think about the previous training that we've been through and what we are currently doing there are major differences. Most trainers, train your dog and hand them back to you with a few sessions after, but not Heather and Chad. If you are willing to wholeheartedly put in the work and take the wins, but also not-so-great moments, they are your people. They have literally become like family to me and my two dogs Malana and Luna. The whole community is a great support system that is non-judgmental which creates a safe place to learn and grow.

Trust me, my journey has not been easy, and I have had to learn some hard lessons, especially after bringing in another puppy to our family, and Luna's reactions spiraling out of control, but I wouldn't change our experience for the world. Heather has given me some tough love over the years that I have been with the community, but if it were not for that, I would not be where I am today with my dogs. We have learned so many useful everyday tools such as separate but together, heel, leash handling drills, dog body language, and chilling out to create an obedient, less fearful dog.

I know my team will continue to grow with Heather, Chad, and the community, and I can positively say that I am so excited to continue to learn and grow with the team. I have really found everything that I was searching for and more with Everyday K9, and that is something very hard to find. Thank you, Heather and Chad for everything you have given us.“
