“Dr. Jay has been such a blessing for me to have on my care team. As someone with chronic, rare, and complex health issues, I am truly satisfied with my care. That’s not something I get to say often. I don’t have to fight to be heard or listened to. He takes his time & is truly willing to do whatever he can in his power to help make my life livable. My conditions aren’t curable, so having someone that is willing to fight for me & try what he can to help is so important. I was beat down to tears in his office recently after a debilitating flare up, ready to give up and just accept my life & health as is. He took the time to encourage me to keep fighting & keep trying different things until we find what works, reassuring me he was here to support me in whatever I needed and adjust as time goes on. He is someone you want on your team, regardless of where you are at in your health journey. There have been times I’ve had to wait a while in his office to be seen, I encourage you not to get frustrated by this. He spends the time needed with his patients. If he’s willing to do that for other patients and myself- it is worth it. You can’t complain about only getting 5 minutes with your doctor and then also complain if he’s running a few minutes behind. Be thankful he isn’t rushing out of your room & gives each and every individual patient the time and care they need and deserve. I say this because I know so many people shut down when they have to wait. You wait for good care. And Dr. Jay provides exceptional care. His office is also able to get you in usually within the week. I’ve waited months for appointments with other pcps. So this is also beyond exceptional.“
