Flooring in Port St. Lucie

“This past Saturday, Superior Floor Coatings did an outstanding job recoating our home’s garage floor. But, that was the end of the journey. It started a month or so prior when I went out to 4 well known (and well respected and experienced) garage floor re-coating companies in the area and requested bids for the work. That’s when I first met Mike Hogan, the Owner/Principal at Superior Floor Coatings LLC. He was very knowledgeable, personable and down-to-earth. He answered all of our questions, provided requested bid clarifications, made follow-up visits to the house and patiently helped us select which flakes we wanted embedded in the floor coating. And, as equally important, he provided competitive pricing. Now, to the work itself. Last Saturday, Tim and Conner showed up on time with their work van/equipment and they were ready to go! Simply put, they did a great job recoating our garage floor. They surface prep’d the garage floor using a diamond grinding machine. Then, they filled in any minor surface cracks with an epoxy filler. Over that they applied a combined polyurea vapor barrier and floor coating. They then liberally spread out the selected flakes onto that first coating; we chose Stonehenge. The top and final coat was polyaspartic. In particular, Tim as the team lead, was very professional, an excellent communicator, very patient, persevered through a long hot day and was clearly a technical master of the process.
Conner was a good helper and both he and Tim were a very proficient team. My wife and I were thrilled with the result! The finished garage floor had the exact look that we had hoped for; we couldn’t have been more pleased! If you need your floor coated (or recoated), you will not go wrong if you select Superior Floor Coatings to do the work. They have our highest possible recommendation.
