December 18th I heard water in my bathroom walls. That was the start of what would take MONTHS to fix. I had the water shut off and a plumber came out immediately. However, I hadn't been in my home since the end of October and dont know how long it was actually going on for. Not only did I hear water in the walls, water was coming up from the floor in the main bedroom. I called my insurance company and they sent someone out to do an inspection. Then, thanks to a referral from a client, I called a Southwest Restoration. What transpired next was months of work and frustration. They were AMAZING!!! Nothing short of fabulous. My insurance company however, was not. They would not communicate in a timely manner nor would they send payments when they said they would. It was a battle to get them to approve the work needed to be done. June 28th I moved back home.
